THE BEST BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE! My husband and I found this place last year on February while at in KC for a conference. He decided to surprise me for my birthday with a day trip to KC (we live in Nebraska). His first stop was McLains and again, It. Did. Not. Disappoint. Already planning a trip to come back!! The owner was lovely to chat to (100% should branch out to Nebraska ?) I must say, I believe this is the best restaurant in Shawnee. It’s becoming a favorite of ours as we’ve loved the food each time. This was our first time dining in for lunch and the atmosphere is great too. Friendly staff, an array of products sold, and a beautiful setup for lots of natural light to come in, you’ll enjoy your time here.Personally, I love the amount of healthy options they have. This time I went with the harvest quinoa bowl. Very fresh with great ingredients.
