Honestly, if we didn't know we were in Kansas, we could have sworn we were in northern Wisconsin. It felt like home.“
“I went there on a Monday night and it was a fun time! They had karaoke and that's always a blast. I'm not from the area so I just stopped in and everyone there was pretty welcoming. The bartenders were great. I went to another bar before this one just because it was closer to my hotel and I didn't enjoy it nearly as much. I would highly recommended this bar if you're looking for a bar with kinda that small town feel and looking for a fun time. Everyone was so laid back. If I ever end up in Topeka again I'll definitely go back.“
“The new owners are wonderful and really on top of things.The renovations look good, there’s a lot more staff and the service is top notch. We didn’t have to wait for drinks which is a huge plus.Food menu is still the same but I suspect they will be changing it. “Went for lunch. Service was outstanding. There were more people than I expected for this visit out of the way, rarely talked about location. That alone tells you something. The food was delicious. I had a buffalo chicken wrap and sweet potato fries. Good portion of food for lunch. I will be back!“
“They closed and reopened. For years this place had good bar food for really good prices. Now, half the menu is offered and everything is higher priced. The burger wasn't the same at all it seemed to me and yeah, pretty much everything that made me eat here is gone. And while I had lunch it was me, my friend, and about 12 60+ year old people creating a seriously geriatric atmosphere. Sorry but if I'm gonna bother with any reviews I'm not gonna lie. Besides the food and bar they got 2 whole pool tables.“

“Abigail's never disappoints! Wait time on food can be a little long but totally worth it and absolutely huge portions at least 2 meals every time! THEY HAVE BY FAR THE BEST WINGS IN TOPEKA! “Horrible service. I sat at the bar staring at the TV for 10 minutes while I tried to order food to go. The place was dead also. So I ended up walking out. Went to Sonic drive-in and got better service from high school teenagers. Also I was greeted in a rude way. Lived a block away from this place the last 13 yrs. and been in countless times. tonight was my last.“
“Great little hole in the wall place that I can't believe I haven't visited sooner! A true Topeka staple. Great food and taps. We had the chicken gizzards which were cooked to perfection. The quarter pound burgers and home fries were very good also. Washed down with a shiner Bock rounded the evening out. Highly recommend for a nice time out!“

“I come to dinner at least 2 times a week. I'm absolutely never disappointed with the food. My only complaint is one of the waitresses. I came back in August for my birthday with a group and she brought all of our food in to go containers because she "just assumed". I felt incredibly unwelcomed by this and a burden. I've still been back multiples times with many other waitresses and was never treated this way. for the most part I absolutely lovw the reat of the staff. I came back tonight and have to listen to her talk badly about customes. Have to listen to the bartender tell her what she could be cleaning on her down time while she turns around and makes a remark and a smirk. Get rid of that one!“
