I used to eat here frequently as a child, and I recently went back as an adult. It felt like stepping back in time: everything is exactly the same as I remember it. For a fast food Mexican restaurant, I think this place is great. I particularly enjoy the hard shell tacos with the light, crispy shells. I chose the hot sauce with my meal, and it wasn't hot at all. This is a favorite! I cannot visit Topeka without stopping here! My memory is filled with filling myself with Sunday tacos, though I know it is likely more expensive than 40 years ago! If you visit Topeka, this place is legendary and yummy! Just look at all of these exclamation points! That good!

The food is inexpensive and very good. I love the Madres Enchilada and the Light Taco. Interior needs upgrading.It's like steping back into the 1980's. They use Leonard Meats, a local butcher company in Topeka. Service is always fast and efficient.
