“My husband and I enjoy dining at different eateries all over Wichita on the weekends and this slice of Heaven came highly recommended by a dear friend! The food at Chicken Chicken Drive-Thru was everything we were told it would be and more! I can’t even put into words the satisfaction and flavor explosion that occurred with just the very first bite The food is prepared as you wait so you get the absolute freshest, tastiest, mouthwatering experience that you’ve never had! “Terrific! Previously reviewed, now updating. Marked service improvements, or maybe I caught Doo-Dah on an off-day before. Today's visit revealed the same awesome food. Prices are up there, but the food quality and portion sizes make it right. Just about any menu item, if fully consumed, will make you need a nap! Can fully recommend the Meatloaf lunch. Also, the French Dip is superb, with the Prime Rib being flavorful and lean. Au jus is perfect. INSIDER TIP... ask to be seated in D's area. Check this guy out. No pad. Everything from memory. Claims to be able to take up to 16 orders with complete accuracy. Impressive service. Highly recommeded.”

“I love the vibe of this brewery. It was a beautiful night with evening Temps in the low 60s, and the place was packed with people sitting in doors and outside. A bluegrass band was playing in the corner and the beers were great. I had 3 different drinks, the pilsner, a hazy IPA, and a tripel. All of them were true to their type, with the tripel being my personal favorite.”

“Love, love, love Poblanos. I've been eating their fabulous rice bowls since they had their first location on W. Central many years ago. I'm sure the rest of their food is excellent too, but I love, love, love their rice bowls and choice of ingredients - white or brown rice, beef (or chicken or other protein), sauteed veggies, cheese, cilantro, black olives, peppers and choice of 5 salsas varying in heat level (i choose the middle one which has a little heat but not too much.) . Be sure to have them put lots of extra broth from the meat on your bowl. I had a rice bowl at Fuzzy's the other day and it doesn't come close to the delicious rice bowls at Poblanos. I'd never order one of theirs again.”
“I found my new favorite restaurant in Wichita. To my knowledge this is the ONLY place in Wichita where you can get Xialong Bao. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Especially the fried rice and dumplings. Also the staff are absolutely wonderful, they saw me trying to show the girls how to use chopsticks and they used some rubber bands and paper to fashion a little helper thing to keep the sticks together for the kids. Next time I am going back for the Shredded pork. I can’t wait! If you have not been, you have to give them a try!”

When online ordering it's usually ready right at the time it says it will be, which is exactly what you want as a customer.Also, I consistently get a great rate ribeye steak. I get the largest one with steak fries and broccoli as my sides and Texas Roadhouse is the most consistently good steakhouse in the area. I live for those bread rolls and the cinnamon butter. Highly recommended.”

“I love being able to go to Crafted! I always end up getting a BYO Poke Bowl, and they provide so many options and are so nice while you decide on what you want! While building the Poke Bowls, they do so with care and with speed so if you are in a hurry I would most definitely recommend! I have tried a few of their caffeine drinks such as the Nutella drink they have! Every time I visit them I always end up happy and always receive what I have asked for with wonderful customer service provided. It can be a little more expensive than most Fast-Food style places, but the quality of food is up to par for their prices.Parking: Parking is great, not a long walk from parking lot to store. There could be more parking, but with what they have, it works well!Wheelchair accessibility: They do have wheelchair accessibility parking spaces right near the front door and even provide a small ramp to get on the sidewalk. I forget if they have a handicap button to open the door, but the store itself has room for wheelchair access and sitting at tables. However, it may be a tight fit if you use a wheelchair/motorized scooter.”

“This is a nice place that our motorcycle group for "Ole Farts" meets up frequently. The food is good, sometimes just mediocre, but usually good and at a good price. Service is normally good, with an occasional slip, but pretty reliable. Atmosphere... well, it's a typical diner. But it isn't loud or annoying, and your food comes out fairly quickly. It is a solid 4 star place that IS worth your time and money.”

I came from San Diego, and have been missing San Diego Mexican food, and have only got from food trucks where the burritos are 10$ but this burrito is 8$ and unbelievable. This is the closest to San Diego style Mexican food I’ve had. Also, can we all appreciate how it’s 24 hours?! “On today's visit I got two blueberry pancakes and a side of hash browns. The hash browns were overcooked but edible, and the pancakes were alright but raw in the middle. The wait staff at this location is especially great. They made each visit personal and they treat strangers like old friends. Special shout out goes to the host. He was an elderly man who clearly loves his job and life. He gained this establishment an extra star. iHop is always just ok. Never amazing, but you get your food quick. I'm never wowed afterwards, but I do leave full.”

“What a Wichita gem! I visited Daikon Cafe for the first time and was very impressed by the quality and service. For our party of 3, two of us ordered the hot pot. We did a split pot with the Spicy Kimchi & Oxtail soups. Both options were absolutely delicious. Staff was very helpful in explaining menu options and guiding us through the hot pot experience. Ingredients were fresh, well portioned, and had a good variety. The other member of our party ordered a simple fried rice, which looked and tasted delicious. The staff member (Viet) was helpful and friendly. We were also able to try a few new pork belly options that they were trying out which were amazing. All around fantastic food, fantastic service, and fantastic prices. I can’t wait to visit again the next time I’m visiting Wichita! If you’re on the fence, definitely give Daikon Cafe a visit - I can’t imagine you would be disappointed.”
“We have enjoyed Cafe Bel Ami for over 30 years. It is our favorite place to dine in Wichita. Not only is the food wonderful, but the dining room is quiet and romantic. It is aging, but we can call that "shabby chic". On our most recent visit, a newer server did not possess the same graciousness that most of the others have had, and displayed her frustration, which I reflect in the service rating. We had the impression that she did not think she should be assigned our table and initially let it show. The remaining service was fine. I hope the new chosen location is centrally located as well.”

It's a taaaaacoooooo not a prime rib. No matter what you do to it a taco should never be over 3 dollars. The place was packed and 10+ people ordered ahead of me and I was in and out in less than 9 minutes. I waited in the drive thru for 41 minutes at Taco sh@p. That's a difference between night and day”

Coming from KC 7 years ago, I was really disappointed in the Wichita BBQ scene. I tried Station 8 BBQ for the first time yesterday and was really impressed. They put a lot of work into what they do. “Back in Dec I had called Sesame to order enough food for 12-13 people for Christmas Eve dinner. Youssef was his above and beyond self and offered to deliver it to my home any time I wanted Christmas Eve. His price was unbeatable on top of all the generosity he had to offer so of course I went with him for our dinner. Christmas Eve came and he was right on time and also had help to bring everything inside. He provided everything from warmers, to serving utensils, to serving trays. I was actually shocked he had it ALL. It was delicious! After all was said and done, I cleaned everything and dropped it back off at the restaurant a few days later. His food is unreal and never disappoints! If you haven’t had this place go! Now! He puts his heart and soul into everything he does and am so thankful Wichita has a place like this ran by a man and family like him/his. He’s now got mult locations (so happy for him!) so I don’t see him much at the maize rd location but his staff is always so kind when we stop by.”

Initially wanted to try the mussels appetizer although they were out of mussels when we went. Calamari was good but a little chewier than we typically like, figgy pizza was an interesting but delicious combination of flavors, and the carbonara was outstanding especially the perfectly cooked noodles! It was a busy time when we came however our server James remained very attentive and friendly. If I were to complain, it would only be that the cost wasn't quite the savings that I expected since they put me to work to bake it myself. However, it was so tasty and baked exactly as I preferred per the instructions, not to mention the convenience of a fresh pizza on Christmas day, that I'll keep my mouth shut. I have to say that I'm a fan of Knolla's Pizza, and I thought PM rivals them in taste. This complicates things.”

The rewards program is better than Costco that sends a coupon at before your renewal yearly. Sam's also has scan & go where you can scan your own items and pay then you don't have to wait in lines. Grab a snack after shopping. Get a pizza and drink and ice cream for cheap. I recommend this place for big families or for parties or companies that have snack bars. It's like a big warehouse with goods.”

Chatted with the owner a bit and he's a super awesome guy. Our pizza was DELICIOUS. I got the Luka without onions & my husband got the Top Dolla without olives. He doesn't normally like pizza, but he said he can't wait to go back for more. I'm a huge fan of pesto, so when I see a place serves pesto, I always try it out. I asked for some on the side to dip my pizza in too. The balsamic reduction drizzle on the Luka definitely tied everything together just right. We will definitely be back! My husband ordered prime rib, and lobster tail and I ordered one of the steaks. The presentation as you can see In pictures was beautiful. However, my husband’s steak was not warm when it came out. When they took it back to warm up, it came out overdone. The food was good, but not great, or better than we have had at other places in Wichita and definitely for less money. For 2 of us it was over $200, and no compensation offered on my husbands prime rib. We don’t intend to return due to experience and the value for the quality of food. However still recommend for others to try, maybe your experience would be better if smaller party, or don’t mind the $$$.”

They offered me a sample and were able to take me n my wife’s order. We both were grateful and loved the food. I ordered bbq chicken, beef n broccoli with fried rice. She ordered shrimp and bbq chicken with white rice. She also loved her food. Food cost $9.99 plus tax and drink if you purchased one. $13 bucks give or take for meal per person. We ate in the food court area and enjoyed the peace and quiet before rush hour. We recommend this place. Food tasted great. We cleaned our plate…yummy!”

Had a three piece, left with tomorrow’s lunch, with tip and it was under $30. Honestly had a terrific time and the meal was excellent. Only a slight ding on service and atmosphere. My waitress was very friendly and gave great service but I waited a little too long for my check and Togo box while she chit chatted with another customer at their table. Inside looked like a ski lodge and getting to the front door was a bit of an adventure as you have to wind through a walkway. The entire building feels big and kind of a maze.In no way would that keep me from going back and the food and price more than made up for these relatively small critiques.A+”

“This morning I went to Jimmys Egg at 8728 W Central, Wichita, Kansas, 67212 for breakfast. I prefer my eggs "over easy" which I can never cook right at home. (I like the whites to be done, but the yolks runny. No "skin" on the border of the eggs makes them more delicious.) At Jimmys Egg, I enjoy sitting at the counter and watching Anthony cook my eggs perfectly time after time as he greets everyone with a big smile. “I've tried every Pho place in Wichita. Pho Le's has the largest portions, best value, and just as good if not better than other Pho places in Wichita. I always order the Beef Pho and shrimp spring rolls. I have yet to find a place that beats the spring rolls here. The new location is renovated and beautiful. Don't hesitate to come here for Pho. Idk what the Sunday service they offer that resulted in these other bad reviews but I would ignore them. We've always had great service and food is out very quick!”
“Love, love, love Poblanos. I've been eating their fabulous rice bowls since they had their first location on W. Central many years ago. I'm sure the rest of their food is excellent too, but I love, love, love their rice bowls and choice of ingredients - white or brown rice, beef (or chicken or other protein), sauteed veggies, cheese, cilantro, black olives, peppers and choice of 5 salsas varying in heat level (i choose the middle one which has a little heat but not too much.) . Be sure to have them put lots of extra broth from the meat on your bowl. I had a rice bowl at Fuzzy's the other day and it doesn't come close to the delicious rice bowls at Poblanos. I'd never order one of theirs again.”

“This is my first time writing a review, but Maple Street Pizza certainly deserves one. We have ordered their pizza on multiple occasions and it has consistently been delicious. It is my favorite pizza place. Unfortunately, when we placed a carry-out order tonight and arrived home, we discovered that we had received the wrong order. I contacted the restaurant and they promptly offered to remake our order and even deliver it to our house! Even though they don't usually offer delivery service. We were all very impressed, and the staff was very apologetic and so accommodating. i couldnt say enough good things about Maple Street. They went above and beyond to make things right and made some very happy customers.”

“Last Wednesday was the first time here. I went through the drive thru and mentioned that I had never been and the guy was very helpful offering many selections. Prices are up there, but the food quality and portion sizes make it right. Just about any menu item, if fully consumed, will make you need a nap! Can fully recommend the Meatloaf lunch. Also, the French Dip is superb, with the Prime Rib being flavorful and lean. Au jus is perfect. INSIDER TIP... ask to be seated in D's area. Check this guy out. No pad. Everything from memory. Claims to be able to take up to 16 orders with complete accuracy. Impressive service. Highly recommeded.”

The food was super hot, fresh and full of flavor. I mean FULL flavor. Just the right spice. My guy had the fish basket and I got the $36 special that comes with crab legs and choice of 2 other meats (we picked shrimp and clams). Then added sausage. And we shared all of it. When online ordering it's usually ready right at the time it says it will be, which is exactly what you want as a customer.Also, I consistently get a great rate ribeye steak. I get the largest one with steak fries and broccoli as my sides and Texas Roadhouse is the most consistently good steakhouse in the area. I live for those bread rolls and the cinnamon butter. Highly recommended.”

“If you like to try different Bourbon and Whiskey this is the place, guessing they had 75 or more. Everything from low end to higher end including Blanton's, Eagle rare Bourbon. Depending on the Bourbon price can vary alot. But if you always want to try a higher quality drink but didn't want to spend money on a bottle this is the place.I discovered a new favorite Calemet 10 year, so much flavor, I preferred this over Blanton's which is pricey almost 3x the price.They have some basic bar food, because when sampling so many Bourbon or Whiskey your really do need some food.I will be back next time in town to try some others on the list. BTW I have my drink made Old Fashioned, I prefer the flavor, but they do sell them neat, in the rocks etc all same price.”

My travel partner and I shared the triple threat consisting of some fantastic spare ribs, chopped brisket, and pulled pork. The wimpy sauce had the perfect mix of sweet and just a little spice. We paired the protein with some homestyle mac n cheese and potato salad. Definitely worth the visit and the high customer ratings.”

“We were looking for a sports bar to watch March Madness. I’m so glad that we decided on Walk-On’s. Ralph went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of. He was bringing us a refill of soda before we even needed to ask. The waffle cheese fries were amazing! The Black Jack Chicken Sandwich was recommended by our waiter, Ralph. This big sandwich comes with two pieces of chicken, grilled and juicy. We will definitely be coming back to Walk-On’s!”

“It was kinda awkward when we first walked in. They were having the buffet and we weren't sure how seating/service was done. I was wanting to order a kids meal for me and one for my daughter. My son and husband were going to order regular meals. The waitress said she would get written up if we did that. So we decided to split an adult meal which was cheaper than getting 2 kids meals. The portions are big. The meat was good. The fries were not the best. The mac and cheese was wonderful. Add a little pulled pork pork to it and it is even better. We would go again.”

“We went at 9 on a Friday. no wait, after leaving another establishment that didn’t wait in us for 20 mins. I had the burria tacos with amazing consume as well as all the different and fresh hot sauces. My friend ordered nachos and they were amazing as well. The chips were thick, crunchy and a little chewy, fresh fried with the right amount of salt. No soggy chips here! I ordered a fun drink, and it came with a fresh orchid flower. If tequila is your thing, they have pages upon pages of selections. Beautiful restaurant, excellent food and service. The only complaint was that the seating was a little close for me. They sat us at a 6top, (3, 2-tops pushed together and then sat someone at the opposite end of the table.”

The dishes have a fresh taste, the baked pasta dishes are screaming hot, and they fill your bread basket if you wish. With a couple of glasses of wine, house salads, and two baked dishes, two of us dined for about $60 plus a tip, and the value is absolutely there.
