“What a Wichita gem! I visited Daikon Cafe for the first time and was very impressed by the quality and service. For our party of 3, two of us ordered the hot pot. We did a split pot with the Spicy Kimchi & Oxtail soups. Both options were absolutely delicious. Staff was very helpful in explaining menu options and guiding us through the hot pot experience. Ingredients were fresh, well portioned, and had a good variety. The other member of our party ordered a simple fried rice, which looked and tasted delicious. The staff member (Viet) was helpful and friendly. We were also able to try a few new pork belly options that they were trying out which were amazing. All around fantastic food, fantastic service, and fantastic prices. I can’t wait to visit again the next time I’m visiting Wichita! If you’re on the fence, definitely give Daikon Cafe a visit - I can’t imagine you would be disappointed.“
“I wouldn't call this the best pad Thai I've had, but it was good. What impressed me most was how fast they made my meal. It's very no frills, with take out only, but that's ok, that's what they offer and they do a pretty good job at it. I would recommend for anyone looking for something quick and tasty.“
“This place has fabulous sushi. We eat sushi all over the world and it honestly is great. We are new to the area and trust me we have been to several others. We continue to come back here. Henry is awesome!! I gave the atmosphere only three because I am a designer, and they could do so much more but ignore that because the sushi is super fresh and fabulous.“
“When they say their medium is hot somewhere else, they are not kidding! The food is delicious, and the owner is friendly. She came out and spoke with our table to make recommendations.Update 2.10.24 - We had my husband's surprise 50th at Bann Thai. The owner was helpful and accommodated our schedule. She put out some decorations and provided great service. Even though our party filled the entire restaurant the owner and her server were nice and friendly. Please keep this place open by eating there, recommending it to others, and being return customers.“
“Lovely place. Good food. Quick service. Honestly, a pretty good, consistent Thai experience every time we come. I ordered the mushroom lovers this time with a side of steamed vegetables. The brown sauce was thin, garlicky, and light. I'm glad it wasn't too heavy. Tasty, but I didn't detect spice at all, and I did order it medium. Order hot if you want to taste the spice! The steamed vegetables were simple, unseasoned, and straightforward, but I liked it that way so I could mix it in with my entree.“
“This is a small, unassuming Thai restaurant tucked away in a mini strip mall near Pawnee and Rock in Wichita. The atmosphere is clean and modest but the food.... The food was spectacular when we dropped by for lunch today. My wife ordered Pad Thai - Flat Noodle Style (not spicy) and I ordered the Drunken Noodles (hot). My Drunken Noodles were delicious with just enough heat to create a bit of sheen on my face. ? We'd definitely recommend this to other people!“
“I got the ginger rice soup with was very good. Exactly what I expected. And the red curry with shrimp and added scallops. I got mild. It was mild . It was very good. I only wish I hadn't added the scallops.they were ok. But the shrimp was good. Veggies in the curry were very good as well. Overall I was very pleased with my meal.“
“We ate here for the 1st time yesterday. The owner is very nice. The spring rolls and chicken satay were wonderful. The Tom yum shrimp soup and the nail squid was a little lacking in the flavor department. We will just have to try more of their menu items.“
“This has to be one of the top places we have ever ordered Asian food from!!!! So hot and fresh. Super friendly staff, I wish this was more than carry out only. For the meantime I will eat it in my car just because we live 45 min away. The whole family can’t wait to come and try more things and order extra to take some home for later!“
“This was a great find. Our server Mineka was absolutely phenomenal. The food portions are huge. We ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice, the yellow curry, and for desert the Mango Sticky rice. I have a large appetite and will be eating again tomorrow. The sticky rice was big enough for both of us to share. One note: I love spicy food, and their "hot" made me sweat!Vegetarian options: They will make any dish vegetarian.“
“One of our favorites! The Spring Rolls are the freshest in town. The dipping sauces for rolls are light and delish as are their egg rolls. This is one of the very few places that makes Kow Soi, I prefer it with chicken. My other "go-tos" are the Shrimp Curry (yellow), Pad Thai, and my bestie loves the Cashew Chicken. Lunch time is a bargain! You may personalize the "heat" with your order. The staff is always friendly. It is on Hillside in the West end of a strip mall just before 31st S. Don't let the setting keep you away, you will miss out on great food!“
“Thai Table is my favorite restaurant in Wichita! The food is amazing - the massaman curry (order it medium!) is my absolute favorite dish! The staff is all so friendly every single time, and the restaurant is always clean. Highly recommend!! ❤️❤️❤️“
