Fresh pastries, good prices, & helpful staff. If you're not familiar with hispanic pastries, they are not nearly as sweet as American ones, & can seem bland as a result. But bite after bite you start to notice all the subtle flavors that get lost in cloyingly sweet American doughnuts & such.Case in point: Yesterday I had a cream horn at an American style bakery here in Covington. So happy to have found a new place for delicious, spicy chicken tamales. The owner is an absolute sweetheart, and even delighted this expecting mama with a chocolate treat “for the baby†- muchas gracias!!!
Nice ambient, pan dulce is great but you should come early in the morning because that's when they come out fresh out of the oven! They have a variety of drinks as well as hot coffee!
