It's a mom and pop shop the service is hit or miss depending on who's working. I generally get a burger here. The burger is very good so are the fries. If you like spicy fries they will add Cajun seasoning to your fries if you ask.( Cajun fries). The only draw back I have is it takes a while to get food, it takes 15 mins to get my burger every week. I would recommend if you can call your order in ahead of time.
When you're pressed for time, as I have been during the last few days while serving jury duty, you really don't have an opportunity to explore a neighborhood or stand in line when you've broken for lunch. That's the initial appeal of this place, though it can be busy, but beyond that, it's the genuine quality of the food. Sure, it's a diner, but the Buffalo chicken sandwich I had was delicious. Food was good—fries hot and crispy. Had the Californian salad and it was very tasty. Service was friendly and mostly locals were there. Good choice for casual dinner with grandkids. ;-)
