We prefer a local Mexican spot to any chain restaurant. Patron Mexican Grill was absolutely delicious. The food was so flavorful, and the service was warm and welcoming. The only drawback is the lighting, which is way too bright. The chipotle chicken and shrimp dish was yummy and the consommé was next level ??. Order tequila and lime juice. The margarita mix is too sweet.
I’m a foodie, hobby chef, and travel a lot. I am very critical. This place was a FABULOUS experience. The decor was no-frills basic, as are many Mexican places. Very clean. Good TV setup, though. Clean restrooms. Bright, friendly service. Most importantly THE FOOD was exceptional. Authentic. Loaded with flavor. Generous portions. Only place I’ll eat when I’m in the area. Best there is!

Street tacos were tasty - Al Pastor (marinated pork with pineapple) was the way to go. Great mix of savory and slight sweetness characteristic of the dish. The Birria was delicious too, but a little salty. Toppings were right on - fresh cilantro and onions. Salsa and tortilla chips were homemade. Super friendly service and smiling faces. The whole experience was great.
