I was so looking forward to this meal. I'd heard wonderful things about this restaurant. My server Shanta was EXCELLENT. I got my order to go. Spent approximately $50 for the sampler and tip. The vegetables were good. The catfish fillet was good. The delved crab had no taste at all. No seasoning at all. The crab cakes however were very salty. It was a big disappointment to me because I have friends coming from out of town and I promised to treat them to dinner here. I'm not sure...read full review
In their defense it was getting close to closing time when we got there. New waitress, she did good but when the sandwiches came out, the boys said they were missing their fries. She said it doesn’t come with them. But on the way out i checked the menu and it did come with. ? The gumbo was pretty much all broth, tasty but nothing to it… bottom of the pot? ??♀️ Frog legs were juicy but the breading doesn’t stay on, might as well not even put it on.

I have lived in Frankfort my whole life and have never been inside ( as I do not eat seafood). However I took a lady there to pick up food, that we ordered on our way there. While there I picked up a lady who dined in ( I drive a taxi). The staff that day were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was hot and fresh. The lady I picked up was thoroughly satisfied with her meal. Also I did not expect it to look like it did on the inside. So kudos to Jim's Seafood staff.
