“I was visiting from out of town and stopped in to first watch for some breakfast. I enjoy the Barbacoa and that seasonal special was coming to an end. I got to say they nailed it. As you can see from the picture, coffee was good and the service was great. The one downside was as we were checking out we overheard the manager telling one of the other staff to shoo the customers along, they need the tables.“
“I am extremely upset I haven't been here before. This place is amazing! They have some great dishes but even the simple things like biscuits and gravy are done at a high level. Their waffles will knock your socks. We went in at 1015 on the weekend and it was a very calm vibe.“

“This place was very popular and I couldn't see why. The food and service were very good. The portions were more than enough had to take stuff home.I only have one negative. I did love the option of getting a text message when a seat was available. It gave me the opportunity to sit in the car while waiting due to back issues. But when they called us in, we had to wait another fifteen minutes standing, and that was difficult on my back.“
“The food was delicious. Our favorite is the butter burgers. They have so many options to top your frozen custard. The lines were very long, we went thru the drive-thru around 5pm and it took at least 15 minutes. I would recommend going for dinner sometime after 6 if you can. Overall, great experience.“
“Every time I have driven past this place I kick myself for not having tried it yet. So tonight I went for the first time, it was truly an amazing experience. It just looks like a cool place to begin with. The front porch is lined with jockey statues. The building looks like an old Roadhouse tavern. When you enter the front door you are met with an almost room length bar on the left side, barrel and stool seating along the right side. Empty bourbon bottles are the light fixtures hanging from the ceiling. There's a stage in the back of the room, I made a mental note to return when there's live music. Horse country themed art and artifacts adorn the walls, the back of the bar is classic tavern- a wide variety of bourbons and spirits to try and enjoy. The menu is bar food, pizza and some pretty tempting descriptions of burgers and sandwiches. They have appetizers and desserts to frame your meal if you have room for them. I went on a Friday night and Friday is "all you can eat catfish night." That's what I ordered with tater tots and coleslaw. The fish was fresh. Lightly battered and perfectly fried. I had several pieces and they were all good sized and honestly the best catfish I have ever had. The tots were good, the slaw was better than average and we ordered fried mushrooms to start with and they were good too. The owner was there and came by our table several times to ask if we were enjoying ourselves. The servers were his family members. They were all very friendly and genuinely trying their best to make us as comfortable as possible. The restaurant is cash only which you should know before you go, there is an atm machine available but if you're prepared it might be easier. There's plenty of parking in the rear behind the restaurant and in nice weather they have a patio area you could use to enjoy a beverage outdoors. I can't wait to take someone here for their first time and share Golden's Pub & Deli with a friend.“
“Kim cooked my food to perfection!!! And also served it to my table and she smiled the whole time!! My food was great, best food I had at any waffle house in a long time!!! And the service ,even though short staffed the girl was awesome and did everything with a great attitude!! Definitely going back soon and often!“

“I found Babes BBQ recently by doing a google search for restaurants in Georgetown! Someone asked me have I ate at a restaurant but she couldn’t remember what it was called so I started naming places and unfortunately it wasn’t Babes but I am glad I stumbled upon your restaurant! The Awesome atmosphere of family style seating or small tables. Service is stellar from ordering your food at the counter to it being ready for you in a timely manner and brought to your table. The staff walked around checking on everyone multiple times and asked if everything was good and if you needed anything. This was an amazing dine in experience and we will be returning in the future!“

“What a pleasant surprise! When I was advised that the Wilshire Restaurant would be hosting our community Christmas Party, I began checking reviews. The results weren't all that great, but I figured what the heck, it's one meal, one night, and at-least the comradery would be good. Oh my, was I ever wrong!! The meal was FABULOUS! The food delicious, rivaled only by quick and courteous service. What a wonderful gathering! I happily applaud those responsible for selecting the Wilshire Restaurant. Though not a trained connoisseur, I know good food and service when received. Yes, I highly recommend the Wilshire Restaurant in Georgetown, Kentucky! The only negative I encountered, in an otherwise perfect gathering, was a serious lack of appropriate Handicap Parking. Hats off and great job to the the Wilshire Restaurant!“
“The one star reviews recently is from 2 immature disgruntled ex-employees. Those other reviews are correct. Legal actions has been started against one employee. Those who comes to Georgetown Steak N Shake knows your being treated like family. This is only comment ill be making on this event.“
“Smaller Cracker Barrel. I used to think they are all the same. This location is a better one, it's well run with friendly and attentive staff. Food was predictable and came out reasonably fast. Our server was very attentive and made frequent checks on the table. Their point of sale was acting up and couldn't take tap or Google pay. Store manager was up front helping the team with the point of sale problems and doing their best to keep checkout moving despite their technology issue.Parking: Large parking lot surrounds the place. If the lot is full expect a long wait.“

Nowadays, dining out has become a luxury, given the high costs involved, so it is crucial to get what you paid for.In an effort to address the issues, I called the restaurant. I had the pleasure of speaking with Luke (one of the Managers), who listened attentively and went above and beyond to rectify the situation. “Abnormally noisy but that's what happen when a group goes from happy hour to table. They just ended up seated at a bad location where in gregarious person ruined dinner for a whole room. But the food was excellent and service outstanding so let's just right this one off to a loud drunk being at the wrong place this time The quiet ambiance is what sets this place apart from other places where you can enjoy the old house and beautiful architecture.“
