“Was passing through on a road trip and wanted to give this place a try since my crew love mexican dishes. It was a win-win. It was a bit more expensive than normally spending for the same dishes, but the food was actually flavorful and good:) Family of 5 and everyone ate well. The staff was friendly and everything was clean. Would highly recommend giving this location a try. We will stop when in the area again!Vegetarian options: They have a section for vegetarian dishes. Hard to find when searching at other restaurants.“
“My favorite of ALL Mexican restaurants! Love their margaritas, so good! Never been disappointed with any meal! La Antigua dip is a must to order! All employees are so professional and kind! Go there once a week minimum!Parking: Always easy parking even on busy days!Kid-friendliness: Take our grandchildren, they love going here!“
“We go there for work lunch often. Always great service and food.Just had their steakhouse deluxe today and as someone that always prefer to cook my own steak, I was very impressed. Great quality meat, cooked perfectly medium rare, seasoning on point too.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian and vegan optionsKid-friendliness: It's a family atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Ramp available“
“Authentic street food, had the al pastor which was a more savory version than I'm accustomed to as there was little to no pineapple flavor in the meat. The person who took my order was kind and had me out the door to eat on my break quickly. I'm surprised this place isn't slammed at lunchtime.“
“The street tacos were excellent. I had had pollo, asada, and chorizo. English language was not their specialty, but that was not a problem at all. The salsa roja and Verde were both excellent. I will definitely be back to try the whole fish, which appeared to be their specialty.“
“Our favorite spot for tacos! Tacos el Charro is the best place to get authentic tacos, and they hit the spot every time. My boyfriend loves their tacos al pastor and I order carne asada tacos and a chicken quesadilla for us to share. Tacos el Charro is convenient and fast! Tacos are $2 a piece and a large sized quesadilla is $6 which is a steal for what you're getting! Please bring cash to tip the workers because they're awesome! I would recommend their hot salsa if you can handle some serious heat! I have seen on Facebook that they do taco platters for a great price.“
“I am in Georgetown, Kentucky for work this week and I finished early. So, I did some looking around and found Pepe's Mexican Restaurant close to my hotel. Walking in, I found myself in the middle of an explosion of color; just like I would expect in this type of restaurant. I was greeted quickly and taken to my table. My server was there immediately after I was seated with chips & salsa, and to take my drink order. I perused the menu and settled on Piñata Blanca. Piñata Blanca is a beef burrito with cheese dip and pico de gallo smothering the top. In addition to the burrito, it comes with a carne con queso bowl which is essentially a small, deep fried, flour street taco shell filled with ground beef and topped with queso and tomatoes. The dish also comes with sides of rice and beans. In typical Mexican restaurant style, my lunch came out of the kitchen quickly and was pipping hot. The dish was flavorful and plentiful. More than I should have eaten. I overate a bit! The chips were very nice. Warm, crispy, and slightly nutty tasting. The salsa was very good. Not to spicy, though I do love spice. Sometimes spicy salsa before a meal deadens your tastebuds for the rest of the meal. When my server, Jorge, brought me my bill, he was apologizing that he didn't visit my table enough to see how I was doing. There wasn't any issue at all in that department and I told him so. Jorge was super friendly, and a great server! Overall, I had a good experience at Pepe's Mexican Restaurant and for only spending $9.53 before tip, it was a great value! If you are ever in the Georgetown, Kentucky area, give Pepe's a visit.“
“This place has amazing food no complaints there, the staff seems to lose track of time when it comes to asking for stuff such as more Chips salsa, most of the staff is very nice, some leave more to be desired. Great family atmosphere. Would recommend overall.“
“We are regulars last night we had a pretth long wait time however when we got our food it was delicious and hot.Dietary restrictions: Tons of healthy options and choices for you make it your own. I hate tomatoes and they always remember that and make sure I am happy and taken care of when we come weekly.“
“This has to be my favorite mexican food restaurant, hands down. They are always super nice, the restaurant is always clean. You may have a tad longer wait for your food, but it's always fresh and hot. Their food is pretty close to what I would consider authentic, especially for Kentucky. I sometimes want to other places, just for the sake of variety, but i always find myself coming back here because it's just really good Mexican food.“
