“We moved to Harrodsburg in 2018 and this was our first time trying Granny’s diner. The food was absolutely delicious!l and the portions were a lot more than we were expecting! Closest little locally owned establishment that resembles other establishments in our hometown back in hazard. 10/10 we will be eating here again!”

“Main 2 complaints are how little seating is in the bar area for events, but I don't think anything can be done about that, just a small building. Restrooms always seem to be clean, and there's always cute/funny drawings and phrases on the stall. The other complaint is how most the seats at the tables in the bar area don't have backs. I have a bad back and it's terrible to sit in them very long.Parking: Not many spots to park, and they are all on the side of the street. Unless they have a parking lot that I've never seen.”

“Had some street tacos there today, they was pretty yummy I've also had the steak quesadilla a few times that's good as well. The price isn't bad I can eat there alone and leave a tip and still come out cheaper than a meal at Wendy's or Dairy Queen. Typical American mexican restaurant, good but nothing special.”

“El Charro has wonderful food. Don't let the white paper-like stuff on the windows make you think they are closed. The margaritas were very tasty and well made. The salsa was fresh and delicious. The Fajitas Cozumel were abundant and wonderful.”

“The restaurant was clean. The service suberp, we enjoyed the outside patio and glad they had ceiling fans it helped with the heat and the flies. The food was delicious. I had 3 bbq sliders with fries and slaw. My husband had the side salad with a bunless cheeseburger sandwich. Both were served hot and tasty. We didn't find many local places to eat downtown and enjoyed this one ! Oh my we also had the homemade banana ice cream, yummy”

“We are new to Harrodsburg and have tried several restaurants in town but have quickly decided that LaFonda is our favorite! The food (get the guacamole !) is always delicious & cooked to order (have an unusual allergy ?), hot and ready in minutes. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The drinks are spot on and your glass is never empty.”

“Tim and Lisa were very friendly as were the customers. They allow dogs ?. My husband and I were on a road trip home to MN and they let us sleep in our camper! Delicious beer ? ? with 13 home brews and other options for beer and hard liquor. Would definitely return if in the area again!!”

“My girlfriend is Korean and has been to Thailand and tried the food in the motherland. She says this food truck is the closest thing to true, authentic, Thai cuisine that’s she’s ever had here in the states. She got the pad Thai and Tom yum soup both with shrimp. Upon her first bite she was overtaken by joy and started dancing in her seat. She couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. After every bite she had a new compliment. She talked about it for days. We live in St. Louis and it’s so sad that it’s so far away. The woman working was incredibly kind. Overall one of the best food truck experiences of all time. Couldn’t possibly recommend a place more strongly.”

“Amazing food- something you wouldn't normally find in a quaint little town like Harrodsburg. The hibachi is similar to what you would find in Lexington, and the sushi is more than comparable to the larger cities. Possibly some of the best food in this town.”

“My wife and I tried this place last night for the first time. Service was excellent and the food was good as well. We got cheesy bread and a pizza. I would recommend both.”

“Limited menu, but something for everyone! So nice to have another option in a small town! This location is located right inside in the Student Center, of Campbellsville University Harrodsburg Campus. Restaurant is easy to access, you can take to go or eat inside the Student Center - employees were friend and food made fresh to order!”
