“I asked some folks from Hopkinsville what restaurant to try. They said The Local Irish Pub, and we're glad they did. We shared our meals and really enjoyed both: Irish Bangers with mashed potatoes and onion gravy, and Beef Tenderloin Pot Pie. For our sides we had mac and cheese with Guiness and cooked seasonal vegetables; both were excellent. Hubby also ordered a pour of Paddy's Irish Whisky which he really liked. Iliana, our server was attentive and fun to talk with, which was impressive since the place was hopping. For part of the time there was live music which was something we were hoping for. The set-up and decor were charming. We would definitely recommend giving The Local Irish Pub a try.“
“This was a geat historic diner find using Google Maps. It is not a large place but a great place to take a step back in time and enjoy some great diner food. The staff in here were outstanding. They keep the place very clean and are very helpful with recommendations. They are most famous for their burger and chili combo. Both were really good and you can sit at the counter and watch your burger being cooked.Parking: Street parking was easy just pay attention to the one way streets“
“If you're looking for authentic taste, this little hole in the wall spot is the place to go. The most friendly owner with flavors that reminded me of my time in Mexico. I ordered an Asada Burrito. I will be coming back to try the Birria (available on werkends). It may not seem like much from the outside, but inside you will find a cozy spot with truly authentic comfort.“
“Had one old lady who works there rude as hell. The old lady with a walker asked about the middle door if she could go out because it was close to the door, and I believe she had a small oxygen tank. The worker was so extremely rude. I definitely spoke up like you can open that door and let her go out she didn't, though. I called her out on how rude she was she quickly started calling people homey and sugar. If you aren't happy in your job leave. I have been going here for 8 years, and she definitely made me not want to come back, but I will, and I promise she won't ever be my server. But our waitress was amazing as always.“

“They get a little busy around lunch so you may have to wait a little bit but it's nothing terrible. Wednesdays are 10 Wings and 1/2 lb french fry special. Fries are really good. Blue cheese dressing is great too. Fried pickles are very good. Very good bar selection too .“

“Went with my youngest daughter we ordered 50 pc chicken nugget bucket 2 medium fries and 2 medium drinks (we had to wait a little bit of time for the chicken nuggets to cook in which didn’t bother us none we weren’t in no hurry and we knew with that amount of chicken nuggets would probably need some time to cook so we weren’t in no hurry or rush for our order besides we knew our nuggets were going to be to hot to eat right away since we had to pull forward and wait for them to be cooked so we had already planned to eat once we got back home which was 20/25 min drive from Hopkinsville back home in Princeton so we waited till me got home to eat our nuggets but some some of our nuggets weren’t cooked away through but most of them were and those ones were really good but my dogs loved the ones that weren’t fully cooked all the way through so none of those nuggets went to waste.
