“We are so glad to have Olive’s Apron in our neighborhood! I love walking down to the shop and hanging out in the “couch room” with my kids. It is so cozy and cute with plenty of unique games for the little ones to enjoy. I have always felt welcomed. Also the smell when you walk through the door is divine! We have been big fans of the biscuits and various treats for awhile, but have not visited as much recently due to some dietary restrictions for our family. I contacted them about creating two custom dye-free birthday sets for my children and they were so wonderful to work with! Ashley sourced natural dyes for our order per my recommendations as it is not something they keep on hand and charged me only an extra $5 to do so. The cakes came out beautiful, more vibrant than expected, and were so delicious! They were perfect and we had two very happy birthday kids! “My boyfriend and I just moved in down the street from High On Art and Coffee. It is a very quaint, cute place, with an attractive interior, and outdoor seating. The customer service is amazing, everyone who works here is so sweet and considerate. The food is sooooo good, definitely with the try. We personally love the smoothies! The sandwiches are amazing, and you have the freedom to add or take away whatever you need. I bought the avo-gobble sandwich and added all base veggies (I Believe, onion, tomato, spinach). He bought a breakfast sandwich, bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel, and a crangerie turkey club on a croissant. All of the food was excellent!!Drinks wise we got a strawberry, banana, peanut butter smoothie, and a chai. The chai is VERY sweet, a dessert!Vegetarian options: They serve lots of sandwiches! You have the option to build yours from scratch, or take away from menu options, therefore you can make anything vegetarian. There are lots of veggie options, plus smoothies.“
“ALL of the staff are extremely nice and welcoming!!! EVERY single thing on the menu is delicious. I did not expect a lot but I was pleasantly surprised. The only thing that I disliked was that their food menu was only 4 items, and I felt so bad for the order takers. It was pouring rain and they were standing outside getting drenched taking orders. I would suggest another option on days like those. Just for the safety and well-being of the employees. I do hope that neither of them ended up sick. “McLeod's is a welcome pop of color in an otherwise bleak landscape of coffee shops with monochrome and understated decor. The staff are unique and very friendly. They employ specially abled staff which is phenomenal. Brewster, the owner is very personable and clearly loves what he does. We got to hear stories of the myriad art pieces on display in the store. They have beautiful pieces of art and furniture, each with their individual stories and you can buy a lot of them.They have a cute "pay it forward" board with Coffee sleeves that you can purchase to pay forward a coffee. They also had a coat rack for those in need to grab a coat for free.We left McLeod's with a warm and fuzzy feeling, and you can't put a price on that. My cappuccino was good as well but McLeod's is more than just the coffee you buy here, it feels like a community.In short, inclusivity and community are the focus of this gem of a coffee shop and we're glad to have found it.“

All the staff are really friendly, Nick is always super peppy and super nice, idk know her name but the one with the curly hair is really sweet, when they didn't have enough Malasada donuts (which are very good) she apologized and she very clearly looked distraught as if we were going to be upset even though we were definitely not. Overall everyone's very kind and willing to give recs and answer whatever questions you may have. The hot cups are really nice and don't use cup sleeves reducing the waste they use which i can get behind. Can't get much better than here.“

“Really really good coffee, I would have it again but I’m not sure about the food, our order was messed up and some parts missing like an entire side of eggs and bacon, also had no whipped cream in our crepes and the “crepes” are just rolled pancakes. The food was indeed delicious but very different from what we ordered. But I would def still go back for the drinks alone. I got the Iced Chocolate Coffee and it was amazing. “On a casual visit to Lexington my family came to the Fayette Mall and it was a great day of shopping and snacking. Don't worry about coming hungry; a food court is available. This spot offers popular clothing shops and a gaming shop that blew us away with their selection of items and stellar service. We were thrown off once to learn 2-3 of the spots had more than one location in the mall. Plenty of parking and also near other restaurants and shopping. If you're coming to browse, rather than targeting specific shops, I'd recommend giving yourself a lot of time to enjoy the stroll.“
“So blessed to call this my local coffee shop. The baristas are so laid-back and kind and their selection is always fantastic. Man, can they move a line quickly – I’ve been in a line out the door and they’ve gotten me through in under 10 minutes, which I’m incredibly grateful for on hectic mornings. It can get busy and seating inside the cafe can fill up at times, but they have lots of great seating throughout the building as well. Highly recommend!“
