My 45th Bryan Station High School held our clasx reunion here for the second time this year. The reserved and showed was about 120 ( I think). The committee selected great finger foods from the catering menu. Could self decorate with our colors and such. An alumni spinned the music and the Congo dance line filled the dance floor. Glad our Réunion Committee found this location.

We had our wedding celebration at Copper Roux. My husband and I got married in an intimate ceremony but wanted a place to celebrate with family and friends . With our guest list at 80 people, this was a great spot to do so. Allison helped us from beginning to end. Any questions we had, she was helpful and always answered us promptly. The food was delicious, the bartender Cherry did a fantastic job serving our guests and creating a fun , comfortable environment. All staff members we came in contact with throughout our planning and on the actual day of our celebration were friendly. Having everything in-house made things easier and to find a nice venue in Lexington within our budget was another huge plus.The day of our celebration we ran into some issues, some minor, but some not. We were planning to have a picture slideshow playing on the 2 TVs throughout our event. During setup, we realized 1 of the TVs was not working. A technician was called out to try and fix it an hour before our event was set to start, but they could not get it fixed. Therefore, we only had it playing on 1 tv- not a huge deal but still not as we planned. The next issue was a couple hours into our 5 hour event ALL restrooms, men and women went out of service. As a bride but more importantly a host, I was mortified. Our guests had no where inside the building to use the restroom. Allison informed us of the issue and I had to step away from our celebration to speak with the owner. Our guests had to go to back and forth to the hotel, which was in close proximity for the remainder of the night just to use the restroom. The staff offered to shuttle guests to and from the hotel to use the restrooms and tried their best to accommodate everyone, but I was not pleased with how ownership handled the situation. A plumber was called but to my knowledge, the restrooms were not opened again for the rest of our event. The next day, Allison contacted us, very apologetic and will be giving us a building reimbursement . We were thankful she understood our frustration with having no restrooms . She handled it professionally and kindly.Nonetheless, we all had a great time. Our guests raved about the food and loved the ‘Kentucky feel’ of the building. I’m glad we chose Copper Roux as our venue for our wedding celebration.

Just had the Easter buffet there. Definitely not worth almost 50 per person. Food was mostly cold and bland. Both bathrooms were also out of order for around 100 people, not the best experience.

Our experience with this venue, for our wedding , from start to finish has been a true blessing. Allison was so helpful in the planning. When our big day arrived the staff could not have been more wonderful. I didn’t have a single stressful moment due to how profession and caring the staff was. I would highly recommend Copper Roux for any event you would need. I know I will be them again!!! Oh and the best part you can’t beat the food. Thank you so much for making our big day perfect!!!!
Copper Roux hosted a Memorial Service for my father who passed away during 2020 of COVID. It was a fitting tribute and a wonderful venue! It could not have been better from the space, to the decor, the service, the food - all outstanding! Highly recommended!

I had my wedding reception at Copper Roux in August. From meeting Shanna and her team, to corresponding throughout the planning process, and the event itself was easy! They offer the whole package for a super reasonable price (we were on a budget, and Shanna helped us find places to cut costs or do what we wanted but better!): delicious food and drinks, beautiful linens and dishes, and set up/clean up (that's what made me swoon!). The servers were friendly, the bartender was amazing, and they worked well with our other vendors. THANK YOU for making our reception look like an actual fairytale!!

Was here for a wedding. The ceremony was performed inside due to bad weather and unfortunately the kitchen staff was a little loud while the ceremony was ongoing. Understandably they were preparing for the reception but nonetheless it was still unfortunate. The bartender was 10/10 awesome dude and knew his history on a lot of the alcohol and recommended some local distilleries.
