I tried this place at the last moment since my first choice was closed. It looked rustic, yet nice from the outside. The food was decent but a bit pricey considering the portion.I have to admit that I wonder about food safety. On at least two tables (including mine), there were bottles of mayo upside down next to the ketchup, mustard, and other condiments. One of Lexington's hidden gems. Disturbingly fresh seafood. Best Mexican in Lex. Only issue is the hours. It's a real gamble whether this place is ever actually open or not, and they don't always answer the phone so you really have to pay a drive by visit just to know. Prices so good you feel like you're in the 90's.

The guac is made to order and is easily the best I’ve ever had. I got the empanadas and they were delicious. I can’t remember what the dish was my husband ordered but it was basically a sausage and potato sandwich but very tasty.
