We loved Lex Diner, sorry to see it go away! Our favorite waitress Trish was the best in town! The food was top notch every time. Fried Fish, BLT, Monte Cristo, Burgers....all excellent. We are going to miss the food, but mostly the people!

The food was just ok. My husband and I stopped in on our way out of town for a quick breakfast. I had the breakfast with eggs, sausage, and half a waffle. The waffle was light and fluffy and delicious. The eggs, which I ordered to have a runny yolk and cooked whites, were overcooked on the edges and the whites still raw in the center. The sausage did not have good flavor and was tough. My husband had biscuits and gravy and left most on his plate, as he said the gravy had no flavor. Next time, we'll skip this stop.

So the food is really good and the owner came to our table because the kitchen was running behind which delayed our order. She was extremely nice and apologetic. We weren't in a hurry so it was fine and the food was very good. We like this place. Brunch is probably our favourite there.

Six of us placed a reservation for Sunday brunch. The diner was crowded with people enjoying themselves! Five people ordered breakfast dishes and I ordered a taco salad. Everybody cleaned their plates! My salad was fresh with lettuce, chicken, guacamole, black beans - yummy! We had a great time. Service was perfect. Prices of the dishes was reasonable. You can order anything from the menu, not just breakfast on Sunday's. Can't wait to return!

I ordered the fish sandwich. I could have gotten a bigger piece of fish at McDonalds. It wasn't even crispy so I'm assuming I paid $14.95 for a piece of frozen fish that was cooked it the wrong temperature oil. Service was good considering how busy it was. The food was awful.

We waited forever for our order to be taken..we were the first customers of the day,???then waited forever for our food...then upon giving my aunt and I our checks..he gave mine to her and hers to me..they were the same price so we just went with it..didn't realize..she had my debit card and I had hers...which we figured out the next day when I had debits come thru my account..that I did not make...his in attentiveness..caused a mess for us..

They were shocked when we said table for 5, even though we made the reservation for 5 people. It was Christmas Eve morning, so I'm sure none of the employees really wanted to be there, but none acted like they were happy to see us. The French toast was barely cooked. A hot cider bourbon was ordered and we had to ask for it and it finally came out about 15 minutes later. A gentleman stood in the doorway that led to the restroom talking to employees. We had to almost squeeze past him before he moved out of the way. That happened 3 different times. Service was just meh. Not sure if we will be going back there.

A hidden gem. Tried for the first time for an early weekday dinner. The Kentucky Philly sandwich was excellent and large. The home fries were very good and the portion was generous. My wife tried the pork chop special with mashed potatoes (real ones!) The pork chop could have used a little seasoning, but was tender. We shared a piece of strawberry cake for dessert. The slice of cake was generous and the flavor was outstanding. The service was very friendly and prompt. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and plan to come back again.

It was our first time to Lexington Diner. I had heard great things about it, so my husband and I gave it a try. We went at 4 pm on Saturday and no other patrons were there. I tried the evening special, Game-day hamburger. My husband got the grilled cheese and soup. He's was fine, but it's hard to mess up slice bread with melted cheese. My hamburger was burnt, so crispy that I struggled to swallow that first bite. I asked for another hamburger that wasn't so black and dry. While I waited, my husband ate. He was done before the new burger was brought out. I had lost my appetite by then. I'm sorry to say, we won't be back. I had such high hopes. ?

We've loved Lexington Diner for years. We made a reservation thinking that would make things quick and easy with a toddler. It took about and hour and a half to get our food. It would have been more palatable if the servers had come by and reassured us that they hadn't forgotten about us and that our food was coming but they didn't. When we asked an hour in if they knew when we might get food they acted like we had just ordered 5 minutes before and were being unreasonable wondering. Highly disappointing. Luckily the food was good and somewhat warm.

The food is very good every time we come here. The waitresses are very nice and attentive. This is one of our favorite places to eat. The strawberry cake is the best I have had anywhere.

Food was good and experience good. But don't expect to be able to get a Mimosa or any brunch alcoholic drink before 11:00am, at least not on a Sunday. Despite them being on the brunch menu they don't serve them, per their ‘rules', until after 11:00 according to our waitress. Was pretty frustrating.

Shoutout to Google maps for letting me know this place existed.Got the burger with Mashed potatoes. Both were good. Was warned about the cheese being spicy, it was great. Could have been even spicier.Beer cheese appetizer (not picture) is top shelf. Really good beer cheese.
