What has happened to Malone's!! It used to be THE go-to place. The one you told out of towners to go to. Not anymore. Went there today after a year. Last year we said we'd not go back as the food was just ok and service worse. The atmosphere at the Palomar location has changed with the expanded bar area and food and service sub-par. Today it was FILTHY!!! The first table we tried in the bar, the stools were dirty with food and the floor was unbelievable. No way was all that food and debris only from one day. It looked like when a toddler drops food all over the floor under themselves, yet it was EVERYWHERE. We were there around 3pm or so. Absolutely unacceptable. It was so bad we went and sat away from the windows to a darker area so maybe the darkness would hide some of it. We almost left. I said something to the girl that offered us drinks and here comes one guy with a little broom and pan and he barely swiped at a few things and never saw him again. Our second table offered a view of the kitchen area where waitstaff (I guess) was gathered constantly. I thought why does no one pick up a broom!! I always thought of Malone's as "high end" feel but now it just looks like any half dirty family style restaurant. What a disappointment. Really wish I had taken photos to add here.

Everything about this place is great. The food is amazing and portions are huge. I love the vibe especially when it’s warm out and they open up the windows. Drinks are also good and customer service is out of this world! 10/10 recommend!

Decent food, but there are better options out there for the value of your dollar, and if you know how to cook/grill a steak yourself, you can probably do just as good of a job as what they put out here. Oscar style filets with Mornay sauce were what I had and it was above average, but nothing incredible. Expected exceptional for how much it costs. Wine choice was good.Funnily enough, my Norwegian friend was there with me and apparently TGI Friday's is considered " moderately fancy", to a degree, in Oslo, and while it surely is a step above American TGI Friday's (it's no Jeff Ruby's, obviously), she equated the Malone's experience to that. You KNOW Malone's can do better than the TGI Friday's name, whether we're comparing it domestically or internationally. Also had a fly buzzing around the table that was really bothersome and has me questioning the cleanliness of the place.

I was very upset to find out 2 of my favorite items on the menu were recently removed (magi mani and the pork chops). I had family drive 15 hours from Florida and I raved about the food and quality the entire trip here. When we finally arrived I quite disappointed to see my favorites were gone. I'm an addition the prices went up yet the food quality was just not the quality you world expect to receive when you're paying such a high price. My husband and went on our first date 10 years ago and have remained loyal malones customers ever since. I was very disappointed in the quality. The service was impeccable as always and everything else was wonderful.

Overall very good dinner. Also for the price and the quality of the food we were super impressed. The only negative was we sat at a table behind the server station. Not the best ambiance bit we were pleased with our visit!

I have eaten at Malone's multiple times. I've never been disappointed. Their steak is hands down the best. The service is bar none. The atmosphere is perfect.

We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation and were seated immediately. The service was fantastic - fast and friendly. The food was delicious as always. We try to have dinner here whenever we are in the area and have never been disappointed.

Service was awful and sadly they never ever realized how poorly they were doing. It took forever for anyone to greet us, drinks took forever, water wasn't refilled - we practically had to beg for more refills. And finding waiter for anything was crazy difficult. Also - the seafood tower was very overrated. It was a lonely little 2 tier platter w oddly placed seafood items. Not with the $.

Most disappointing visit ever…. 4 of us order steak dishes and all of them were covered with salt. Tuna towel soaked in soy sauce as well. I am going to cook my steak in fry rice to eat since I paid a lot.

The Malone's Manhattan was smoooooth and so good. Spinach and Artichoke dip as an appetizer. The twin filets special didn't even need a steak knife. Our server Renee was just the best - great to talk with and she gave us some good intel on our next visit. All in all just a great night out.

Three of us sat at the bar on a busy Friday night and enjoyed some of the best Italian meals I've had in a long time. The bar staff were very accommodating so if you don't get a table, try the bar!
