I've been looking forward to coming here for months. Staff is really great and the bartender was knowledgeable. The problem was my old fashioned flight. All three were way too sweet. One was barely tolerable and tasted like Sweethearts candy. I expected better from this place.

WOW. This place is nothing short of absolutely spectacular. I'd heard it was quite good, but my wife and I (and her mother) were blown away by just HOW good it was. It's probably in the top three brunches I've had in my life. We got the fried green tomato appetizer--5/5. I'm ruined for life now on FGT because I don't see how anyone can top this place. I had the chicken and waffle which was superb--5/5. My wife had the creme brulee french toast which was outstanding--5/5. My mother-in-law had the crab cake benedict and it was beyond stellar--5/5. I don't often write reviews for restaurants, but OBC earned me taking the time to write one. I can't wait to try their dinner. Our server was excellent, the atmosphere is very unique and very 'old money' Kentucky. And lastly, they bring out a little tablet where you can go through the menu and see professionally shot photography of each dish so (as our waiter said) "you know what you're getting into." Great concept, very well executed. The portions are large so we ended up bringing some home and honestly I'm looking really forward to having my leftovers. It does get quite busy, so I recommend making reservations. But even on a Saturday the day before Easter everything moved smoothly, we didn't wait long for the food to come out at all. They really have their act together here, so kudos to the management as well.

Our meal was fresh, authentic, and delicious! Our server, Conner, was great at choosing our personal flight and providing history about the pours. OBC is always a must when we visit Lexington.

The service was good, shout out to Trevor for his recommendations and keeping the sweet tea flowing! The cheese grits are delicious, and my Australian dining companion thought so too...only drawback for me, I find the space a little dark when comes to the lighting. Great spot!

I have always been a fan of BHG restaurants, but this by far has the best brunch EVER! Me and my mom went to celebrate her 44th birthday and I couldn't have asked for a more better atmosphere. Food and drinks were amazinggg! Most importantly, I was very pleased with our server, Trevor. I appreciate his hospitality, I didn't feel rushed and drinks were ran expeditiously to our table. I appreciate him as well for taking care of my mom, we are coming back next weekend for sure!!

Just an amazing experience AGAIN. But it was made even better because of Shelby. She is the best! Shelby is incredibly knowledgeable about bourbon and the food, her service is excellent and she makes the experience so much fun. We have been here quite a few times. One of our favorite restaurants we have ever been to while home or traveling. The food is amazing, the place is exciting and the service is exceptional! One of the key staff members is Shelby. We always request her as our server. Shelby has excellent bourbon and food knowledge, provides first class service and makes every dinner fun and enjoyable. She is half the reason we go to OBC Kitchen. Shelby is simply amazing. Thank you Shelby!
