We were driving to Indiana to drop my son off at a summer camp, and we picked Lexington as the halfway point. It took me a while to find this place online, because a quick Internet search for Lexington simply reveals a lot of places that serve a lot of meat, barbecue etc. I had to dig a little deeper to find it, and I am so glad we did! Tonight was a much needed return to Sav's. I always loved this place when they were on Limestone and I lived across the street. I will say the new location is beautiful and even on a busy street the outdoor seating transports you to a restful shady spot where your work day is done and it's time to share a meal with your people. Went here for early dinner on June 9, 2022. Greeted by friendly server and seated outside in gorgeous patio. Despite patio being on busy main road, patio atmosphere was serene and the only time we noticed traffic noise was when a bus went by. We both had Mafen Vegan Bowl which is eggplant, cabbage and carrots. OMG...so delicious !! Husband had his with brown rice and I had mine with fufu, which looked like polenta and tasted like gnocci.
