The Gatton Student Center is a beautiful, spacious common area inside UK's Business School. The main seating and study area can be accessed by staircase or elevator. A sculpture is extended above the seating area that offers tables and oversized chairs. Lots of natural light comes through the glass ceiling. Also downstairs is a cafe for food and refreshments. It's great to have an option other than Starbucks and not be forced to walk across campus to access the main dining halls....read full review
Food is pretty hit or miss. All the places that serve the same thing are mid, but the workers are generally pretty nice. The cafeteria itself is pretty chill, realistically a 3.5/5.For fellow broke college students, I recommend getting at least one of the green takeout boxes, I prefer 2 (one for dry food, the other for wet food). THIS PLACE IS EXTRAORDINARILY HIGH IN DEMAND, HOW I FOUND OUT ? I HAD TO STAY ON A LONG LINE THAT'S MOVING INCREDIBLY SLOWLY, WHEN I WAS IN HURRY, TO GET SOMETHING WHILE, MY WIFE, WAS IN LABOR, AND I DIDN'T WANT TO MISS OUT ON ''THE MOMENT''.
