“I have a food allergy so I'm always cautious when going to try new places, and let me tell you how amazing the service and food here is!!!!! I called first and the waitress said she knew some items had my allergy but she was very nice and said she could help me go over the menu! We got there and looked at both the Italian and the Afghan menus and she truly did go over each option with me and answered my questions! Now the food: my husband LOVES a good piece of lamb and he was so impressed with how it was tender and tasty! Also that rice mixture it comes with is delicious! I would absolutely recommend this meal! My husband loved it so much so he wants the recipe ? The mantu dumplings I got were so tasty and flavorful with a nice surprise heat to them! 10/10! Lastly we finished the meal with these delicious cannolis with marzipan that were mouthwatering and such a delight!Absolutely go check out Bellísimo!“
“It was our fist time here. The best tasting Italian food. There marinara sauce takes eight hours to make thanks to Michael, finding out it was our first time gave us a free slice of cheesecake the waitress name Sonia was very sweet. And did her job very well. Fantastic Family size portions . We will be back! 0h! And we do recommend the chicken Parmesan and the cheesecake for dessert!Parking: Large free parking lot“
“We had a girls night out at Square Cut and it was fantastic! We had the “chefs table” menu so we could try several different things and every single bite was amazing. My favorites were the pumpkin dip and mussels. I’m looking forward to my next visit!“
“First time trying Lupo and would definitely go back! Pepperoni pizza, pasta with pork, and cabbage were all very tasty options. The pizza crust was perfect and pizza itself had the right amount of toppings. Ranch was great. Overall the flavors were spot on and it looks like they have a great variety of unique flavor combinations. Nice patio seating and decently quick service. The restaurant itself was clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. They have a parking lot right next to the building, but it was full so we parked in the overfill lot across the street (not far at all) Would recommend!“
“We had dinner there last night with some of our family for our grandson’s birthday. The food was excellent! The service was superb with all the waitresses being so friendly and exceptionally helpful to us. It was a wonderful birthday celebration and we will definitely be going back to “bar Vetti” again and highly recommend it to all our friends. Thank you for a great evening!“
“The vibe is a New Orleans Cajun style restaurant with a flare. I’ve visited Louisiana several times, and this place felt exactly the same. Great food with awesome service. But the kicker is the decor and design of the historic building. I highly recommend checking this place out for yourself. Guaranteed not to disappoint.“
“Was picking up some ingredients and decided to grab lunch. 4 stars solely because the chicken parm sandwich was not their best creation. It's a warm sandwich and the flavors just were not there for me. It got a little soggy and I think my picky eater gene just turned on. I think I'll stick with cold sandwiches from them. I did finally get to try their focaccia, and OH MY GOODNESS. Why did no one tell me that I would sell my soul for a piece of garlic-y bread?? Their garlic focaccia has got to be the best one. It does have large chunks of cooked garlic in it, so if you are not a garlic girl I would maybe try the plainer ones. Also picked up some cannolis-- I'm not sure how frozen cannolis manage to stay so crispy and crunchy but they do. I seriously love this place, whether I'm picking up individual ingredients or grabbing lunch, it's such an amazing spot to go to.“
“I've been there several times. Including takeout. It has excellent food with an excellent wait staff. This is a family owned business and it shows. We love those environments. The food was Italian not too garlicky. A good strong tomato flavor but with good seasoning, so as not to be overwhelming, we are considering this for my wife's birthday. It's that good of a choice.“
“Let's start at the beginning. Gorgeous restaurant. Tables aren't set up with intimacy in mind though. My husband's drink was perfect. My maple bourbon drink tasted like bourbon only. No other flavors noted. We were offered free champagne for our celebration which was a nice touch. Calamari was pretty standard though I loved the lemon aoli with it. My special of the day Sea Bass was incredible. My husband's salmon was good, perfectly cooked. This will be unpopular opinion but I thought the lobster bisque was gross. It tasted like melted cheese with a few lobster pieces thrown in. Not bisque at all. I do tend to be a bit critical since I lived in Boston once. But I couldn't eat it. Overall though fantastic restaurant. Especially seafood in a location far from any sea. Well done.“
“Great pizza, wings, and sandwiches at a great price. I've been there a dozen times and Chef John is amazing. he sponsors countless kids and organizations and I've personally seen this man not charge people for their food. Brightens my day every time I go. Kudos sir!“
“The decor inside is amazing! You can look around all night and find something new to see! We went for a friend’s graduation party and the service was still great! The food was delicious as we’ve never ate here before. It would be great for a date night or anniversary!“
“We were sat in a quaint little booth, adorned with wood everywhere. Very beautiful. We started with the crab arancini and they were superb! We followed that with short rib, ravioli and shrimp scampi, and both dishes were to die for. the capers on the shrimp were the perfect addition, hands down some of the best food in Louisville. Will be back!“
“First visit me and my wife went on a Thursday evening. I ordered the cheese steak and they suggested getting it on their home made flatbread. Wow! Best cheese steak I have ever had, and I am 58 years old. The flatbread was also amazing, will go back many times, awesome food.“
“Food is astonishingly good. My only negative feedback......for the level of cost, I believe the service should be outstanding. I shouldn't have to ask for a refill of my beverage. Other than that, this is a go-to for excellent dining.“
“We have been to both locations and the food is consistently so good! It’s always nice to get the opportunity to select different slices as opposed to having to get a whole pie. Tonight our 2.5 year old made her pizza, as kids get to go on Tuesday’s, and she absolutely loved it. The staff was so friendly; the gentleman who seemed like he was the manager was very friendly & helpful to both customers and his young staff - which is so important. We will definitely keep enjoying pies at both locations!“
“Red Hot Chicken!? Red Hot Chicken would be better described as a mediocre, beer, pub buffalo chicken wings. Today the chicken was chewy and overcooked. Buffalo sauce would've been more mirrored to a place where they wear Tight shorts and tight shirts. Overall fabulous experience. Wonderful menu, great staff and the crabcakes are to fight for. Biggest suggestion I could make would be that the restaurant provide a lunch menu so as not to confuse the guest with items that were not able to be purchased until after 5 PM. When I return, it will definitely be after 5 PM and I'm looking forward to trying the lamb and the spaghetti.“
“Some of the best pizza I've eaten came from Coals. The ambience is as good as the food! Their prices are in line with what you get and they have a good selection of beers, cocktails, wines, and sodas. We'll definitely recommend and return to Coals. Great food!Kid-friendliness: Great place to take behaved kids.“
“We came in from out of town and stopped here, the service was wonderful and we loved supporting something family owned too. The food was so yummy and it’s hard to find some place that is authentic, delicious, and also isn’t hard on the wallet. Our waitress had her hands full this night but kept her head up high and just did a phenomenal job.“
“I wish we had taken a picture of our amazing food. The Eggplant Parmesan was absoluteiy stellar!! Should be featured in a magazine. The flavors burst in your mouth. The homemade marinara had the absolute best blend of herbs and spices. Each one not overpowering the other while still complimenting the roasted eggplant. My husband had the bistro burger. The fried egg on top was perfectly done. Not under or overfried. The handcut fries with parmesan were so crispy. He stated each bite down to the last was juicy and just as delicious as the one before. It was so good we debated whether to buy one to take home for dinner later. We had never had ratatouille, but we wanted to try it. The vegetables with the marinara. Yum!! Succulent. The vegetables were cut beautifully, not thin like some recipes tend to show where you kind of wonder what you just ate. Not here!! Each bite was savored. Made me think of my grandparents and their garden. Thank you for bringing me back to a memory I have missed. We will be back and soon!!“
“We visited on Monday, January 1st, and enjoyed the amazing food, particularly the thin crust and cheese bread appetizer. The waitress was fantastic, but the highlight was when I realized I lost a sentimental item – a "little people" doll I’ve had my whole life. I let my 1-year-old play with it briefly. After realizing it was missing, I returned to the restaurant, shared its importance, and the staff went above and beyond, even searching through the trash. The doll was found and I'm truly grateful for their exceptional service, and if I could, I would give both the food and staff a 20-star rating. Thank you for everything.“
“Our first time at Sarino, definitely not our last. Superb. Food was great. One of the best Italian restaurants in Louisville. Great atmosphere, I really like the building. We ate indoor but unique and cool outdoor seating. Carbanara was fantastic. Friendly service.“
“I had never heard of this restaurant until a family member from out of state sent me a link as a suggestion to cater our grandson’s first birthday party. We were expecting 80 people (adults and children) - he is a miracle baby and this was a big celebration! We wanted to make sure there was enough food that both adults and children would enjoy. Paula was so patient and gracious to us as we went back and forth about what we wanted, even changing the menu at the last minute. She was also extremely helpful and gave us the perfect suggestions for a crowd our size, with something for everyone. She even made a low sodium option for my husband who is on a renal diet. We ended up with two pasta dishes and two kinds of panini sliders, with garlic bread bites and a complimentary tray of cookies. Everything was incredibly delicious, and we had tons of food! Everyone raved about it and commented it was like food at a wedding reception. The panini sliders were a huge hit! This is not your typical Italian food - it is high quality cuisine, and you can tell it is “made with love” as my husband says - and very reasonably priced especially for the quality. Lastly, Paula’s husband, Anthony, delivered the meal all the way to Bernheim Forest where we had the event. We were running behind and it was so chaotic when he got there - but he was so gracious and helpful, and even brought a birthday gift Paula had gotten for our grandson! Our entire experience with them was wonderful. They served us well, and we’ll definitely go back. They are busy, so if you don’t get a call back, be patient - it will be well worth the wait!“
“Ate lunch at southside of Louisville Kentucky. Very friendly and very clean. Debbie S. Is great. She took our order and brought it to us with fresh breadsticks. She was running the front of the restaurant ( by herself) and had everything under control. I wanted to share and hope the company is aware of her exceptional service. Cooks are great too. Food was fresh and hot. Wish we had this where we lived.“
“We had a great time! Every dish that we ordered came out perfect. Our waitress was very attentive and her recommendations were spot on. The owner was super friendly and he even shared a little history about the restaurant. The bartender was hilarious and you can tell he takes pride in his craft.“
“Our recent trip to Olive Garden was nothing short of fantastic, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating! From the warm atmosphere to the delectable dishes, it was a truly enjoyable Italian dining experience. The food was the star of the show:Shrimp Fettuccine: The creamy Alfredo sauce perfectly coated the al dente fettuccine, and the succulent shrimp added a delightful texture and flavor.Chicken Marsala: The chicken was tender and juicy, bathed in a rich and flavorful Marsala sauce with a touch of sweetness. The accompanying mushrooms added a delightful earthy depth.Chocolate Cake: We couldn't resist ending the meal on a sweet note, and the decadent chocolate cake did not disappoint. Moist and flavorful, it was the perfect ending to a satisfying meal. The service was equally impressive. Our server was attentive and friendly, ensuring our needs were met throughout the evening. They offered helpful recommendations and made sure our experience was enjoyable.Overall, Olive Garden provided a delightful and affordable Italian dining experience. The delicious food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere make it a perfect choice for a casual night out with friends or family. We highly recommend giving it a try!“
“This is my go-place for plzza and wings. The pasta and sandwiches are also quite good. Two of the serving people, Matthew and Hanna, have been the ones to take care of me. Both are friendly and very efficient. I try to visit on nights when one or both are on staff. With so many TVs it's easy to find something to watch. It's a large place, but the noise level is not objectionable.“
“Boy oh boy! These guys have some good, good pizza. I loved it. I took one home and I was very happy I did. Apparently, they sell pizza by the slice (which is right up my alley) and I do know it's 5.00. Which is ok but do you call first? Do you just have to hit it at a good time? I asked the guy and the best i cutlass get was that it takes about 8 mins. So i don't really know but. I'm going to find out and I'll let you know. I think pizza by the slice is the best idea ever and I'm glad to know we have one in Louisville. But smile.Dietary restrictions: They'll make it however you want it. Big smile“
“Casual elegant bistro with fabulous food and a wonderful coffee bar. We started with a cafe roma and a latte, both of which were rich and delicious. This was our first time here (it won’t be our last) and we ordered a charcuterie board and empanadas as appetizers. All were very good, but the beef empanadas were stars. We also shared an excellent chicken and rice soup that I believe added poured carrot to the broth, which added a nice extra flavor. For an entree, we split their English Fish and Chips, which used a delicious and crispy beer batter. We’ve found it hard to find this style of fried fish in Louisville, so this was an exciting find! It did not disappoint.“
“Place was empty, except one table who already had their food, I walked in on my lunch break, and was wondering if they were closed. For about 5 minutes. Pizza was good. But 30 minutes for 1 pizza is a long wait, could only imagine what it's like when it's full of people.“
“The restaurant was quiet and clean, the food came extremely fast and the waitress was kind. Overall the food was a little pricey but not bad flavor, the Alfredo sauce did have quite a different texture. The prices on their website are very different from the menu so make sure to take note of that.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza optionsParking: Free large parking lot“
“Great Italian restaurant with a fun atmosphere. The food is excellent and the portion sizes are ridiculously large. The calzone is huge. I love the chicken parmesan pizza style. The bread the serve too! I always leave this place stuffed! Service staff are very attentive. Great local restaurant.“
“A Saturday @8:00 ish: EXCELLENT service.Salad tasty, food served in a timely manner. My Fettuccine Alfredo was just warm, with ample grilled chicken. However, noodles were dry, sauce only in center. Kitchen brought one little cup of sauce. Upon leaving, I brought some home, asked for 2 cups of sauce.I was disappointed, as eating here is a treat for me.“
“Steve was our server for a phenomenal dining experience. He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The pasta and meatball dish had the most flavorful marinara I have ever eaten. The well crafted Italian margarita went perfectly with it. My boyfriend had the linguine dish with a glass of Merlot and loved it. For dessert we had the cheesecake and almond joy. Absolutely exquisite.“
“We chose this place when traveling from out of town. It was so delicious! I had a ham and cheese sub and the others had pizza. We also tried the cheese bread. Everything was so good and fresh. The bread on my sandwich was so good. Highly recommend!“
“I tried the tater kegs for the first time and they were amazing. The pizza is always great. I don't like sports at all so that is the reason for the 3 star on the atmosphere because they have TVs with sports on them but I just ignore that aspect. Overall it's a great place to eat and the food us amazing.“
“The food was great. The servers were on the food items. The manager lady was very attentive to the service provided by her employees. The parking lot and the restaurant were very clean, I arrived at the store at 6:00 pmParking: Easy access to the main road. The parking lot is wheelchair accessible. And it was very clean.“
“First time customer from Mt. Washington looking for something different. We ordered the grilled buffalo on thin crust and meatball on hand tossed by pick up. Pizza was ready upon arrival and the staff was friendly. Good pizza with the right amount of sauce so it's not messy. We will be returning for dinner on the patio.“
“I love Martini's The food and company are spectacular. I have tried. a mixture of many dishes and they all have been wonderful. The wait staff is fabulous and friendly. Jason an s Kya are incredible. They make me feel like one of the family. It is worth every penny!!!“
“We had a pizza door dashed last year when my son was admitted to Children's Hospital and it was too late for the kitchen to be open, the new Subway on the first floor was closed, and if my son didn't eat within 1 hr he wouldn't be allowed to due to Lots of tests being done the next morning. The delivery was quick!!! The food was Amazing ??? I highly recommend there Large pizza ? and their chicken Alfredo with bacon!!!“
“Arrived at the Barstown Rd location near Kroger's store. The menu was huge, from standard pizza, deep dish crust and BUILD YOUR OWN Options with all kinds of cheese and toppings. We got the chicken BBQ Deep dish, it was the BEST IN LOUISVILLE. TRY IT, YOU'LL LOVE IT.“
“This was my first visit to the Derby City location and from a pizza perspective it was so much better than the location near me at Plainview / Linn Station Rd. I was with a large group and got to sample several toppings, and every pizza was crispy and flavorful. (I'm quite jealous that Plainview can't match this consistency: my husband and I would never describe what we've had as crispy, sometimes mushy.) My group got to experience the private room. It was a nice size for our group of 70+ people with plenty of tables and chair space. We also had room at the front of the room and ideally we would have had tables there to place the various pizzas. (They were advised to put them on tables and people mingled to grab what they wanted) The space allowed us to get a group picture and a couple of TVs were placed there to watch sports games. The primary complaint was the noise level. The walls and floor are concrete so it got really loud, really fast and this was made worse with the added music piped in. I visited the bar inside the restaurant a few times for beers. The ladies behind the bar were friendly and fast, keeping our tab accurate. There's several tables for guests in the main restaurant. It's a combination of high tops and standard tables. Volume was loud in there too, plus karaoke later in the evening. I got the sense several of the guests were regulars. Parking is tight, especially for those driving huge trucks or being forced to park next to them.“
“This was mine and DH first time eating at the Hurstbourne Pkwy location. The food was lovely...DH particularly enjoyed the spicy chicken soup and I was delighted with the Johnny Rocco salad. I must say however, Akani our server was the real bright spot on a sunny Saturday afternoon. ? He was warm and outgoing. He was also attentive and observant to our needs without being pushy. I personally would give Akani a huge raise and all of his favorite snacks. ?Best regardsJana Craggs ?“
“We were so looking forward to going to to Olive Garden tonight. It’s a special place to us. Their food is always hot and delicious. We have our old favorites and when getting there we always seem to go back to our favorites. Tonight I did get something different than one of my usual dinners with them. I chose to get the Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. My sweet husband looked all thru the menu but went back to his favorite, Lasagna. Our server came up within 3 minutes of our arriving. We both ordered their unsweetened Iced Tea. I don’t know how they do it, but it was wonderful. Ahmeelia G was our server tonight. She had the most winning personality of any server we’ve had in a long time. After she brought us our drinks, we gave her our order. We ordered Pasta e Fagioli Soup and Chicken Gnocchi Soup and our bread sticks. Their soups are so delicious that it’s very tempting to want to order refills, but we know now that we can’t order refills and be able to eat an entree. We had just finished our soup when Ahmeelia came back to our table to apologize that it was taking so long to get our meals, and she was teasing my husband by saying that it was his Lasagna that was taking so long. She was so cute! She came right back with our food and the familiar notice that the plates were really hot. Oh my goodness, our meals were so delicious. The lasagna had disappeared and I had 3/4ths of my Grilled Chicken Alfredo was left for tomorrow. Every trip she made to the table to check on us, revealed more sweet details about her. I could have talked all night! I didn’t though, I had to order my special Birthday Dessert that Olive Garden had sent me. We ordered the Chocolate Lasagna Cake, and sweet little Ahmeelia brought out the white chocolate to grate on the top of our cake slice. For our first time during this Birthday Celebration, we brought home 90% of our cake to enjoy later when we weren’t so full! I have got to tell you all- If you go to Olive Garden Hurstbourne, ask for Ahmeelia to be your server! You’ll love her as much as we did!!Parking: There is plenty of handicapped parking on both sides of the entrance and a smooth ramp and sidewalk to access the door. The employees come and open the doors to assist you if needed.Kid-friendliness: They have a full child’s menu. It comes with a drink also. Not just chicken nuggets! lol.“
“There were 16 of us from our Condo Association that went to Bearnos Middletown tonight. The address was 13829 English Villa Dr. 40245.I had a Cheese and Ham Pizza on a cauliflower crust. It was very good. It was served good and hot. It’s hard to find a pizza restaurant that makes cauliflower crust pizzas that doesn’t taste like cardboard. I shared a piece with one of my neighbors and she really liked it too and was going to try the cauliflower pizza herself the next time she’s there. My husband had “make your own lasagna” with beef, Italian sausage and extra cheese. He was able to add up to 3 items at no extra charge. It came with garlic bread. He absolutely loved it and ate every bite! It was delivered with steam rolling out. It was a big serving!!Our receipt didn’t have our server’s name, just Cashier 98. She was precious. I didn’t see anyone send anything back or complain about their order. We all told her she did a great job. She even asked if anyone needed a drink to take with them. There was another small group there but there was still enough room for all of us. We had plenty of room to enjoy ourselves and we were all able to talk and hear each other. We’ll go back again. It was close to home.Dietary restrictions: I had dietary restrictions and cauliflower pizza is one that I can eat. I had my choice of toppings.Parking: It was a small shopping center with plenty of parking spaces.“
“I loved eating here previous times . Tonight ( winds day 3/6/2024 I noticed something unsanitary and nasty . As I could see in the kitchen from my table there was a young guy running his fingers through his hair and cutting pizza. To me that is disgusting and hair nets need to be worn....“
“You kind of know what you’re getting into when you go to the Old Spaghetti Factory. Service and food is nothing special, but the prices are reasonable and I love how tacky it is inside! The ambiance is definitely interesting but charming at the same time. Besides, where else can you get fettucine alfredo with a SIDE of chicken parm?!“
“First time at this Bearnos and we really enjoyed the company, the music, service and the food was really good! The wall of beers and other drinks is a nice way of trying new beers and such without having to pay for a full glass of so.ething you don't care for. Great idea!“
“Prices are absolutely ridiculous. Me and my husband tried to go there and it was going to cost over $30 for the 2 of us. Every little thing you have to pay extra for. We left and went to a fine restaurant and had dinner and 1 alcoholic beverage for less than $30. Won't be back. I can fix better pasta meals at home a whole lot CHEAPER !“
“I used to frequently eat here, but it's been a while. Last night, we went here for our weekly date night. Hubby had never been.We probably won't go back. We usually like Bourbons Bistro across the street and for same price point drinks, food and atmosphere are much better.Band was playing, and they were awesome. The atmosphere was nice. The waiter treated us in an awkward manner but was chummy and more attentive to other tables.I ordered a veal, and he ordered steak that was on special cooked medium. Ribeye was tough and overcooked. Chocolate cake was amazing... Best thing we had. Old fashioneds weren't consistent. We ordered 2 of same but each were different and almost like ingredient missing.Meal for 2 without salad or appetitizers, 2 drinks and a chocolate cake to share was about $200. Just for reference for those curious. Not complaining on price or saying I expected it to be less or more.Kid-friendliness: Not a place I've ever seen childrenWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp“
