Ordered a package for 20. Food was excellent except the meats. Wish someone would have called me. Chicken and pork were VERY DISSSPOINTING. Expected more smokehouse taste which neither had. The chicken was in hunks and not shredded. Most of all the pork was the bottom of the barrel with hard tough peices. 3 of my best friends told me that the pork was dissapointing and the quality was terrible and I do agree. Was really hoping for more. While nothing was 'bad' - and the burgoo was actually very well done- the brisket and the pork were not anything special. The brisket was not smoked to the traditional 'fall apart' tenderness and this was disappointing. Buttermilk pie was a bit too sweet. Certainly not a 'bad' place - but not more than 3 stars. Service was very good and servers were very sweet and attentive.
