My son works with one of the family members of the owners of this place. Gave it a try for the first time tonight and it was absolutely delicious. I got a #7 , my husband got the spicy chicken, and my son got a soup of some kind- can’t remember the name. Also shared some plantains. The serving sizes were huge and we have enough left for dinner tomorrow!
Omg!!! The food was amazing, very well seasoned and hot. I had the grilled lamb and fries. The fries were hot and crisp. There were onions on both sides of my lamb. They were both delicious, but one tasted like mustard and it was fantastic. I need that recipe.My only issue was the language barrier. Clean, very friendly staff. I’m (African) American and I don’t really like African food, it’s usually too spicy or too dry or foreign (cow feet soup, lamb). After eating here, I have completely changed my mind. As we say in the hood, ‘it’s poppin’. We waited about 25 or so minutes but it was worth the wait.Vegetarian options: The jollof rice has onions and peppers in it. Very delicious.
