This treasure of a restaurant is located inside Logan's Street Market and I was so happy to find a fully vegan place to eat on our way through Louisville. The Thai fries are insane.
So my wife and I live in the Dayton OH area but since my wife is from Louisville we decided to come down last Saturday to see a friend of hers. We recently started eating clean due to the type of fast/diet we're doing so us picking a place with good vegan/vegetarian food was highly questionable. I've only been vegan for 4 months but was so excited to eat at V-Grits because there are no vegan restaurants where I live so I hadn't eaten out for quite some time. I ordered the cheesesteak sandwich with fries and was not disappointed. fries were perfectly fried and the seasoning was wonderful. The cheesesteak was the best I've ever had, even before going vegan. If I hadn't known before ordering, I would never have believed it was vegan. Sooo yummy!
