“I really wasn’t going to comment or post anything but the situation has stuck with me through the weekend and I feel as I should. I will post on an anonymous account as I’m not sure they might recognize me. I don’t know who this will reach, I hope it is the correct people. As I was dining in this week, there seemed to be a misunderstanding with a food item a young women at the bar was eating. From what I learned after the commotion, the kitchen lady didn’t feel like or maybe she was unable to do a task the bartender asked of her. The bartender seemed to be nice about the situation but the cook lady was not! She not only shouted at the bartender angrily but also into the restaurant for everyone to hear. Which in turn seemed to fluster and embarrass that poor young girl. It was very disrespectful and very childish if you ask me the way the cook lady acted. Later shortly after that the cook lady then came out of the kitchen shouting loudly again that “yes I did scream at her, I did” like she was proud to be acting so trashy in the workplace. The bartender on the other hand was very calm and professional and I can’t say I would of been myself if I was spoken to that way. I would not of blamed her if she hadn’t been so adult about it in my opinion. There was another bartender there that didn’t seem to participate in the rant but did mumble something about crazy something or other. That cook lady should be let go. Never experienced anything like that from a restaurant before!“
“If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Wings are no contest the best in town. Tonight I had Lots A-Tots, bacon/sour cream & cheese. Tot heaven ! Can’t beat the location overlooking the river & Cincy downtown. Staff is friendly, fast & attentive. Special shout out to my server tonight, Sydney Parker, she’s the best. Got my food out to me super fast & such a great personality ! Love Hooters Newport !Parking: Plenty. No worries“
“Wife and I decided to stop in here for a quick few drinks after dinner. We ended up spending a solid 3 hours here without even realizing it. Other than her kicking my a** at Foosball, Corn hole, AND pool; it was a dang good time. Atmosphere (especially for a Friday night) was very laid back. The staff were all awesome. And my wife loved that they had a self-serve water station. Unfortunately, we're just in-town visiting, otherwise this could easily be our go-to for date nights.“
“Went to Brother's on a busy evening and got friendly service and tasty food quicker than expected. The cheese curds were amazing, best I've ever had.. underrated spot for food and drinks on the Levee, nice big bar with great bartenders as well :)“
“O'Bryons is the epitome neighborhood bar and restaurant in Newport. Service is courteous, friendly and timely. The bartender is very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Food is above average while being prepared well and fresh. The chicken wrap and chicken wings were tasty. Prices are reasonable for the area. Parking is a bit of a challenge with it all being street parking. Overall a good experience and worth trying out.“
