“Nice modern decor. Servers were friendly. Catfish was crispy and delicious. Mac n chz was gluey and under seasoned. Noodles cooked well. Strawberry cobbler tasted good, but texture was mushy. Meatloaf was good with a thin layer of the sauce topper. It was really sweet, so a little was perfect. Mashed potatoes with a nice buttery flavor. Green beans had bacon and onions; and were very salty.Wheelchair accessibility: Women's restroom has 2 steps up to get into. Not handicap accessible.“

We had a party of 12 and had great service on a busy Friday night If you arrive between 4-6 they offer early supper specials. We had the prime rib with baked potato and broccoli for $19.99 The serving of prime rib was a generous 8oz portion and we had to get a take out box! “What do you get when Applebee's and Cracker Barrel collide? You get Windy Hollow Restaurant. At least as far as the decor is concerned; the food is in a league all of it's own. This is country cooking at it's finest. The baked apples had the perfect balance of cinnamon and sugar and quite literally melted in my mouth. The sausage patties were fork tender and flavorful. I've eaten breakfast in a lot of places and have never had sausage like this! And then there were the chicken tenders. I'm not normally a fan because of heavy breading and little chicken, but these were the opposite of what I thought they were going to be. These tenders were lightly breaded large pieces of perfectly cooked chicken. Last, but not least, there was the coffee. This coffee was so good that it didn't need anything added to it to make it drinkable. I was very impressed with how friendly the staff was, and how they kept the buffet tables clean and well stocked. The only downside is that the place is on the smaller side, and very popular, so it can be a bit crowded. Don't let that be a deterrent, though. The food is worth it!“

“The kids and I stopped by for ice cream. They got cool colored cones with vanilla ice cream, that they loved, and I got a small chocolate waffle cone. The servings were very generous, the price was good, the customer service was good, and the ice cream was fantastic. We'll be back to try actual food next time.“
