“Stopped by this morning and had the patty melt and my wife, the BLT. This place is off the charts insane in a GOOD way! Food was amazing and perfect, and the service and vibe made us wish we came to Owensboro more often. Place was so good, we gave a 50% tip! Loved this place.“
“Briarpatch is a staple in our family. We went all the time when I was a kid, and we decided to go for my dad's birthday. I always loved being able to walk by the grill and watch the chef's cook, and I did the same this trip. The decoration had been changed, but the changes look wonderful. The food was fantastic, just as I remembered, and our waitress was attentive and quick. I was amazed that the salad bar was as fresh as it was with all the people that were eating the day we went. The strawberry butter was fresh and delicious. Steaks were cooked how we ordered them, and wow, the shrimp were FANTASTIC.“
“Classic Americana kind of spot, since 1954. Can be a hassle to get into the parking lot, but worth it. Love the crispness of the burgers. Similar to an In-N-Out burger. Would rate it 5 stars if they could improve their fries a bit; they are not at the same level as the burgers!“
“The kids and I stopped by for ice cream. They got cool colored cones with vanilla ice cream, that they loved, and I got a small chocolate waffle cone. The servings were very generous, the price was good, the customer service was good, and the ice cream was fantastic. We'll be back to try actual food next time.“

They also have pizza slices & cheese sticks.Parking: Lots of spaces to park. None of them are marked, per se, it's kinda just get in where you fit in somewhere around the building.“

“I have an autistic son. He's 23. Never asked us for anything but when we go to Owensboro Kentucky that's all he asked is for. Can we eat it? Freddy's he loves his Freddy's on our trip out to Utah. Every state we went through we had to find Freddy's or at least try to for him. And thank God they're opening of Freddy's in Utah and Utah County. Now when we go to visit every year his Freddy's will be there. He's so happy and I love their fries ?“

“Was passing through from Alabama, decided to try something new. Definitely was not disappointed!!! Best ribeye sandwich I’ve ever had. Only bad thing I have to say is I hate I have to go back to Alabama. Will absolutely be on my list when I’m traveling out of state. Great hospitality too! Extremely patient with me when I asked several questions about their menu. Wish I bought a couple of meals to go. I’d recommend them to any and everybody“

“Enjoy the food. Burgers are always on point and like everyone who eats here knows., There are always plenty of add-ons to choose from. I love that you can customize your burger to fit your desires. You can't go wrong. They have THE BEST Cajun fries in the fry business hands down. This reason alone is good enough to eat here. Try it, you won't be disappointed!Parking: Suffering on parking. It's a shared lot and sometimes you find yourself parking in another company's parking spot also there isn't parking at the front of the building sidewalk which is a bit of a bummer for those who are handicap.“
“Husband had catfish dinner and liked the fish pretty well, good breading, cole slaw was good. I had the Cajun shrimp pasta and the seasoning was pretty good but the alfredo sauce was dissapointingly thin and runny. Service was overall great.“
“I love this place! They have the cheapest gas in town and they amazing pizzas and a tasty and wide variety of hot foods that are priced pretty low compared to most other gas stations. You have to try their wedges and fried pickle, they are my favorites. The employees are very friendly and helpful as well. They are usually stocked very abundantly and have many snacks and drinks to choose from.“
“I was there back in August of 2023 for a surprise 70th Birthday I put together for my mom. The Employees were very welcoming of everyone, showed a lot of adoration towards my mom (which made her feel wonderful), and everyone was very accommodating to the group. The food was delicious and the adult beverages were on point!Vegetarian options: My Mom is a vegetarian and had no problem placing an order. Although, I don't recall what she got.Parking: Plenty of parking within the designated area. But if really busy, there's parking across the street in Academy Sport's parking lot too.Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see anywhere for an entrance that a wheelchair would not be alotted.“
