DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE! I've been passing by this place since they opened in Richmond and kept meaning to check it out. I regret not eating here sooner. I had the ribs, cornbread, potato salad... the meat was sooo tender, my broken teeth didn't even feel any pain (which is rare with meat for me). Meat was right at that sweet spot where it don't fall off but pulls easily and clean right off bone! They know what they're doing. We tried the Texas sampler with brisket, pork, ribs, and sausage . The brisket was chewy, the sausage had a tough casing, the ribs were tough, the pork was very good. The Mac and cheese was good along with the Chuck wagon beans.The staff was friendly and the service was great.

I’ve been looking for a good brisket for a long time, and they totally delivered. Best brisket I’ve ever had outside of Texas. Melt in your mouth smooth, great flavor and the sauce (I went with Sweet) was amazing. I’m hitting this place every time I’m down here for work!!
