Fabulous place to eat! Food is amazing and the only downside is seating availability, even if you get there early. When the weather is nice, there's a whole patio, but in cooler temps, tables inside are scarce. We had to get our food to go because all the tables were full at 11:20am.
Worth the (beautiful) drive out of Lexington! Everything here is great, some of the best sandwiches around. Highly recommend the cubano, tuna melt, and burgers, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Big portions and quality ingredients. The restaurant itself is small and usually quite crowded (as it should be!), but the service is always friendly. Most of the seating is outside, so make the time to stop by on a nice day. Stopped here on the way out of town after flying into LEX airport. It’s really a quaint setting with great service, good prices, and good food. We tried the original burger, fried chicken sandwich, hot brown, and turkey sandwich. Everyone was satisfied with the food, but no one was wowed.Wallace station is worth a stop in if you’re in the area.
