“A diamond in the rough! Our first time here was a pleasant surprise. Found this place by chance via Google Reviews. My family and I loved the hospitality. The staff explained how the food is prepared fresh and not out of a can - everything is homemade! My favorite dishes were the lasagna and the yams. Just needed a biscuit to sop up my plate. Definitely making plans to come back! ????”

“AMAZING!!! The food is hot, fresh, delicious, and portion sizes are RIDICULOUS!!! I ordered an 8" shrimp poboy, and couldn't see the bread under all the shrimp. Could only eat 1/2 the bun and less than half of the shrimp. The onion rings are thin and crispy, not greasy at all. Had to get a go box. Prices were very good. Will definitely be back!”

“Miss Ann's makes the best fried chicken. They even have chicken liver, cooked fresh to order. Mashed potatoes and gravy are my favorite sides. Yummy. The chicken is always hot and fresh. It's not really an eat-in restaurant, but there are a couple of tables if you want to eat there.”

“This was my first time going to this restaurant, our waitress was excellent the food was okay I enjoyed my salad the barbecue chicken was on point the fried Chicken was on point the greens was on I wanted some gravy and rice the gravy seem like it was okay but the rice was so hard it wasn't completely so that kind of hurted me because I really wanted the gravy and rice would I go back there most definitely oh yes and that cornbread was good”

“This place has been in existance for as long as I can remember. Even though I believe it has gone through a change in ownership over the decades, it still maintains the same friendly family owned atmosphere I remember. Great burgers, homemade shoestring onion rings that are amazing, and prices that are close to fast food chains with quality that far exceeds them. Even though I checked the $10-$20 per person price range, it falls into the $11 to $12 category for food, side, and a drink.”

“We visited the Amite Oyster Festival on St. Patty’s Day weekend and it was lit. ? Lots of people, food, fun and good music. ? I ha a delicious frozen drink called Crazy Horse from Boston Market and the sushi and Seared Tuna salad looked amazing. We had my dad’s 80th birthday celebration here as well in the private space. It was very nice and accommodating”
