How in the world have I lived in Baton Rouge for 16 years and have only just tried Pinetta's?! This place is a tiny little hole in the wall gem.My boo and I both had horrible work days, the wait at Ruth's Chris was like 3 hours (clearly we were in treat to self mode) and we stumbled upon Pinettas. Don't come here unless you got some time to kill. Got plans later? Tight schedule? There are other Italian places nearby that'll do for ya. Pinetta's is just a thing you gotta go in and do yourself with some time to kill, cus it's a small place that's understaffed but the food is surprisingly good. Red sauce here has deep flavors, isn't runny, and cooked in a way that I can only describe as caramelized. This place can do no wrong in my book. If they ever close, I will honestly cry. The chicken parm will give u reason for living. The veggie lasagna also top notch. Please support this place, even if occasionally the service is lacking, they make up for it x1000000 w the incredible and authentic flavors & atmosphere!!!
