The food at the Blue Store is always good. Made hot and fresh, spiced just right, bigger chicken then their competition, and love the shrimp fried and Cajun rice dishes. Their cracklins are tasty, too. Prices are good and not made to break the bank, and they're willing to work it out to accommodate what you're asking for if it's not directly on the menu. I go as often as I can and will keep going back.
The chicken wings were well seasoned and the egg rolls were scrumptious, not to mention there was smooth R&B music playing in the background. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in the BR area. Either this one or the Scotland location.

Baby I grew up in the Field and the blue store has always been apart of my childhood and adulthood. I live in Texas now but when I’m back home I do not come back to Texas without stopping at the blue store for my chicken, potato logs , turkey wings and pig tails!!! If you’re in BR and you don’t stop here you’re crazy !
