“I lived in Labadieville for 6 months in 2006. This was one of my favorite places to grab a beer. Great service, low key place, and just a general fun feeling there. Highly recommended.”
“Celebrated anniversary there. Second visit and did not disappoint. Went for lunch instead of dinner to avoid traffic but menu was same and food was great. The scallop appetizer was perfectly cooked and delicious, the biscuits served were outstanding and the desserts were off the charts. I had a cannoli filled with white chocolate mousse and topped with praline and vanilla sauces and it was as good or better than it sounds.”
“Home of the mf daiquiri on the most powerfully packed daiquiri's out there if you are ever close stop ✋️ in and check them out and don't forget the Snoop dog or the fruit loop daiquiri just to name a”
“Went for a work lunch with a large group, since the buffet is an easy choice. The food was pretty solid, not a ton of options, but a decent variety (not for vegetarian folks have to say!) The staff was super accommodating so I don't want to knock their service, they were fantastic. The room itself is beautiful but it is SO LOUD. Like, I could barely carry a conversation with the person next to me loud. It was honestly just a lot. I don't think I'd go back unless I was there touring the property (and didn't want to splurge for the fancier restaurant). The grounds are stunning, and there's a lot to do on site, I do want to go back and see the rest.”
“We went to Latils Landing during their winter menu. The food was absolutely one of the top 5 meals I've ever had. And that's saying something as I have been all over the world eating great food. The grouper with wild mushrooms was positively sublime. The lobster and sweet potato bisque with truffle oil was a surprising hit. The use of warm water lobster rather than cold water lobster was inspired. The sweet potato needed no additional sweetness and the lobster added a nice texture to the bisque. The waigu beef rib was positively succulent and tender in a way only properly prepared waigu can be. And the balance of salt, spices, and acids was perfect. I will return when the spring menu starts. I'm curious if the chef can keep this level of gustatory performance up.”
“The food was great and the atmosphere was nice. Our server was having a rough night and kept forgetting items we ordered, only to be reminded when she would come back to the table.”
“Our son told us about this “new” restaurant in Donaldsonville. Since we were headed that way to support one of his ventures, we planned to have lunch there today. It was the right decision! The food is delicious, service is awesome, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The owners are very inviting and friendly. They shared that the restaurant has been open for about 17 months. They also have a hotel adjacent to the restaurant that they operate. Pay them a visit, you’ll have no regrets!”
“Love it. I work close so I go here quite often for lunch or after work. My usuals are the chicken or beef enchiladas but, of course, you'll find all of the dishes you'd expect to find at a Mexican restaurant. You won't be disappointed with the options or quality of the food here. The couple who own the place are very friendly and personal. Both have made me feel at home and welcomed since my very first visit when it first popped up in the area. From my experiences there, there seem to be a lot of regulars and a most of diners seem to know each other and have gotten to know the owners well from frequenting the restaurant so often which should tell you something about the quality of the food and feel of the place. There are lunch specials but the prices on the regular menu aren't that bad either. I don't think I've ever paid over $20 for my meal and a drink which includes chips and salsa, so you can't complain about that. I've never had an adult beverage there since I'm mostly going midday during work but there is a bar there and if I come later people are often enjoying margaritas and such. Yes. Definitely go support this local business if you're in the mood for Mexican food. Not sure how close it is to do everyone else in that area but it would be worth a little drive as well. For me it's great to have an option for lunch, besides Subway or the Chinese place in that same shopping center. Looking forward to my next visit!”
“This is one of my favorite restaurants. "Restaurant" is not the right word. "Experience" would be more accurate. I'll start with food. On the menu there is a pumpkin crawfish bisque that when I initially saw that combo I turned my nose up at it but decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did - unlike anything I've ever had! I'm always so torn. Trying to decide what to get. For a first time, or I would have to insist on the eggplant Napoleon. It's piled high with so much lump crab meat. I don't know how they offer it for the price it is. But the pork chop with the sweet potato, mash and brussels sprouts... OMG! The service is always great! You're given a basket of breads and biscuits for the table with a couple of butter options. The butter with the Steen's syrup is my favorite. on our last visit, we were celebrating a birthday. The birthday girl was surprised with an array of sweets. But as I said, this is more than just a restaurant, it's an experience. Plan extra time before your reservation or after so that you can view the gorgeous grounds! From the house to the gardens to the fountains to the covered archway, you're going to need at least an extra hour for exploring .”
“Great food for a great price. They have a great variety of Cajun entrees and Italian dishes. I love the seafood platters. The weekend specials are usually delicious!!”
“Great Ms Hilda puts the capital SSS in soul food beautiful strong positive black woman so many lady's can learn from her the struggle to hold her bar 10 toes down god bless her she put the S in soul food”
“If you want to live your best life bouncing and dancing to the latest zydeco, spend a Friday night at Jeff's Bar and Lounge where people are genuine and know how to party.”
“We went over here to have a coffee after filling up the bikes. Nice little shop with friendly staff. It smells delicious when you enter the store. We then ordered a burger with fries...which was really big and very tasty. A nice stop on Mississippi...:-)”
“These are the best burgers in Donaldsonville, hands down. Don’t order anywhere else. The price for a combo is so cheap. This place is best for ordering ahead and picking up, because the inside leaves much to be desired. That being said, the customer service has always been great in my opinion.”
“This restaurant is located in the JW Marriott hotel and it was a great experience. I took a stroll down Congress Ave from the Capitol building and ended my walk here starving for dinner. I ended up only getting a salad, but there were a lot of good southern options on the menu. There’s a great ambience to the place as well.”
“Bo knows exactly how to do his crawfish! I've been to alot of places in South Louisiana and by God he's got it! He knows me as the cf guy ordering hundreds of pounds of crawfish for after work years ago. And to this day I can walk in an he remembers who I am.”
“My husband and I never go out for Valentine’s Day. He got off early and said get dressed let’s go some place. We have heard many great things about this place. We arrived and it was reservations only so we got turned away we spoke to the hostess she was so kind. Half way to our vehicle the hostess comes running out saying she spoke to a manger someone had a cancellation and could fit us in. We were greeted with roses instantly. We loved the food no complaints it didn’t feel like a chain restaurant very authentic. The art is nice to look at and the live music is such a delight. This has turned into one of my family’s favorite spots.”
“I ordered takeout, and the service was super. The hostess made sure of my order and any extras I may have wanted. Service was quick. I will dine in on another day. The food was tasty.”
“Awesome hang out in the cane fields. Mandy makes you feel right at home. Steak nights on Thursdays. Mandy normally had free supper on Fridays. Saturday nights they usually have music with a dj or band. They are open on Wednesday's too. Pool tables, ATM, Big screen TV for the sporting events.”
“I work in Donaldsonville and i probably eat Tams more than 3 times a month for lunch. The food is delicious and budget friendly, the large portion is just an extra bonus. The staff is super friendly, courteous and accomodating. I once ordered a tray of fish for work and not only was i able to pick it up the same day, but when i called the morning of i assumed that it was Tams normal business hours, but it was not. They allowed me to place my order and had it ready for me at the time i requested (which happened to be the time that they really opened. )Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu”
“I went here back in the early 80's when I was a Private at Fort Polk. I was 18. I'm 56 and retired now and my Husband and I have been married 38 years now. We went on our first date hereThis place will forever reign wonderful in my eyes.”
“The protein waffles, shakes, specialty teas, loaded teas, & smoothie bowls… all tastes great!! Also, the customer service from the owner Zoie is unmatched!!!! Andddd the ambiance of the place makes everything taste even better !!!”
“The doughnuts here are the best I've ever tasted. The glazed doughnuts are perfect and the frosting one all of the others is generous. My favorite is the cake doughnuts. But it's not just the doughnuts, they have some of the best burritos I've ever tasted and their biskets or huge croissants are amazing. They have apple fritters that genuinely make my mouth water. They also have great coffee and their service is second to none. They only have two workers but they are fast working, never get your order wrong, and the nicest around. They always have fresh food and nothing helps me start my day better than their doughnuts and a coffee.”

“Far exceeded expectations. Had the Catfish Sev and wouldn’t change a thing. Lunch specials are equally as good. The sweet tea took me back to the 90s. Great people, if you are in the area or thinking about stopping in then DO ”
