“This was my first visit and it was a complete one. We ordered several starters, a few entrees, and Bignets. Flavored teas because the lemonade was out and plenty of beautiful servers. The food was well seasoned and full of flavor, I especially enjoyed the cajundillas and would 100% recommend it! I did not care for the boudin balls that were served with honey mustard. Kaiya took great care of us and was very candid. Great service and empathy from the manager who spoke to us. Overall, this location represents the state of Louisiana well.“

“We have been coming to this Waffle House for years. The staff are always amazing, kind, and helpful. They always make sure we have everything that we need and check on us often.The food always hits the spot. I usually order a bacon and cheese omelette, which is so so yummy. My daughter loves the waffles. I also recommend the bacon, egg, and cheese Texas melt. Oh! And don't forget the hashbrowns. My daughter always steals my crunchy bits, which are arguably the best part.Kid-friendliness: The staff are always so sweet towards my toddler daughter even though she can be rowdy sometimes. “Chill bar I went to for after work drinks and wings. Really enjoyed the wings! Took a while to make but they were fresh and hot when they came out. Tried the lemon pepper and crown&coke flavors. Will def be back to try the others. Had that with the Yuengling lager that was on tap. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Lots of TVs for game watching. I’ll for sure be back!“

“Silver Star Smokehouse is always a great experience. The food is excellent, every time. The service is almost always with a smile. There's plenty of parking, and sometimes there's a little wait, but it's not too bad most of the time. They have the best filet in the area, in my opinion, but you're going to pay for it. It's a little bit pricey, but I will say it's always worth every penny. Great experience and a great time, every time I eat here! “I came in before and there was a discrepancy on my order and I feel so bad because it was in between the employees I have a difficult order always and they got into it about it I felt bad I came back but they remember me and they made my order to the T. I usually I have to send it back but they remembered me they remember the situation and now I will get my food made exactly how I like it. I do not like the circumstances how it happened but I do get my food right now.“

“The young man who was taking orders was a true bright spot in my day. Cheerful, welcoming, knowledgeable, professional. When the register wasn't busy, he walked around the dining room to check on customers to see if everything with their food was okay. He made a fast food experience extremely pleasant. “went for lunch with 7 coworkers, prompt service, rustic atmosphere. Paid for my daughters order and mine and it was 37 for shrimp platter and burger special. Burger was huge, had the onion rings which were delicious and freshly made. One coworker was brought onion rings instead of the sweet potato fries, waiter promptly got a fresh hot order of fries and we got to also enjoy his onion rings. Hush puppies were also very good. We will be back.“

“We had a wonderful and delicious lunch Saturday, February 10th. Our server, Alexis, was the best server we've had in years. In spite of the restaurant being very busy with the lunch crowd, Alexis was able to take care of us and several other tables without any delays. “The wings were great and our waitress was good. Downside, menu said our dish came with slaw. It did not. When I asked the waitress about it she said that it didn't come with slaw and the slaw really is just a garnish with vinaigrette.“
“We had a party of 12 and everyone's food came out cold. The butter didn't even melt on top of our steaks they were so cold. We asked for the manager. Marcus came out and blamed the server, he took no ownership in the buisiness, the food or the Salt Grass Brand. How disappointing that a manager does not know how to manage his kitchen and blames it on the server. We were a military table and low and behold he granted us the military discount which we were entitled to anyway as an I'm sorry. I've never seen a manager who doesn't care and treats his employees and guests this way. I hope this company pays attention and takes this opportunity to replace or retrain this site.“
