“Wow, where to begin! My family of five is on vacation from Detroit, MI and we had just gone on an airboat tour when we googled local restaurants. We landed on this gem, Jae Flem. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we were well taken care of with the utmost hospitality. And the food!! Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. The fish, chicken, shrimp, Mac n cheese, and especially the crab cakes were all spectacular. Plus, the dessert! Do yourself a favor and check this place out.”

“Great seafood! We had crayfish boil, shrimp dinner and catfish. The homemade onion rings are delish. The seafood was local and fresh and seasoned perfectly. The owners are really warm and welcoming and the service was solid.”

“When I was a kid/teen in the 60's and 70s, this was a bait shop/bar with gas pumps out front. Dad and I would stop every time we went hunting or fishing down toward Lake Bouef. Great memories.”

“Stopped by while traveling with my girlfriend, the staff was all super friendly, answered my questions, and made sure we felt comfortable! The interior is very simple but comfortable, the food came out fast, and was DELICIOUS!!!! I had Abbeys gumbo combo which was potato salad, grilled cheese, and gumbo with shrimp and sausage. It was fantastic”

“Went in for dinner. Had the Buddha plate. It was pretty good but is better with the duck sauce. The wonton are REALLY good. The spring rolls were ok. It was mainly cabbage and no other veggies and very bland in my opinion. The jasmine tea was good. The warmth was perfect for the cold atmosphere. Waitress Julie was really cool. Great atmosphere. Wish they had booths.”

“I order over the phone... oh boy no personality at all! ??? I almost wanted to change my mind. It's a like if they're are talking with no feeling what are they doing, making angry lifeless pizza ?Then the order was OK. I just wish I wasn't a major Papa John's fan. This is a new area for me.. I hope then get better. Personality has a way of making things better, just as the lack of personality makes things less a pleasant ✨️”

“I know Wendy's catches hell with reviews sometimes, but my experience was so pleasant, I immediately told my coworkers (who I was with) I'd come here to give 5 stars. If Roland is working, your day will be made. Plain and simple. I've dealt with him at another eatery years ago, and he was just as delightful then. However, literally every single employee working lunch on Fri, 10/20/23, was very nice and helpful. They all had smiles and genuinely looked to be enjoying working with each other. I eat fast food very little, and it made one of my rare visits enjoyable. I do not know any of the workers personally, and I hope the manager sees this because job well done with that crew. I'll be back!”

“It's surprisingly good for being part of a convenient store. The drive-through was fast, and the employees were friendly. The food was just as good as any other full-size taco bell joints.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of choices without meat.Kid-friendliness: Run of the mill convenient store with a Taco Bell attached.”

“The lady at the window kept telling me they don't accept cash app. And was trying to rush me the threw the drive threw line. And we I was trying to explain to her that it was a can app credit card she slammed the window in my face. All the while she was hollering at the other workers about my cash app card and she ran my card finally and it was accepted. Then I walked for 20mins because they forgot to bring me food”

“Lovely place for a gathering or special meal. Came for multiple birthdays in our party. Did get a bit packed with very little service (waitress even had to finish making the dessert because staff was low and/or dropped the ball) Overall, would still like to return. Always up for a 2nd chance!”

“This place was absolutely amazing. I had the brisket sandwich and had to remove some of the brisket off because there was as do much of it on the sandwich. Also ordered the cheese grits which were delicious. To go I ordered a link of their smoked brisket Boudin and I will be returning to Gonzo's because of this item. I've never had anything like it. Didn't taste anything like boudin but it tasted glorious. The burnt ends looked amazing but person in front of me ordered last lb.”

“We had a group of 12. Our waitress was fabulous. She took care of everyone in a timely fashion. I haven't had a Ground Pat'i in years. Just as I remember. It was cooked to perfection. I do miss the pewter mugs that they used YEARS AGO?”

“This is a family friendly establishment serving flavorful food with love. This is the best food I’ve had in New Orleans so far. The portions are great and there was no missing flavor from anything we ordered. Most tourist restaurants we’ve been to needed seasoning. This place does it right!We tried the generous shrimp po-boys, fried okra, a heavenly mac n cheese, and a delicious bread pudding. I would recommend it all.”

“Although I wish they were open a little longer during the week because I could use a lighter option for dinner then the choices we have in st Charles parish, it's a great spot for me to eat for lunch when needed. The food is light, delicious and some of the selection is health conscious. I don't care for the tea but that's my personal preference but I like the cold brew and my kids like that flight frozen coffee stuff on Saturday”

“We were over the top with the entire meal. We started with the sampler appetizer and it was amazing. I had spaghetti and meatballs with the Italian house salad and my fiance had the meatball poboy. Everything was amazing and so delicious and the service was excellent. I have looked for an Italian restuarant to please my palate and have been disappointed but NO MORE, Gendusa's has met my expectations above and beyond!”
