I can recall skipping out of school as a teenager to run to Bud's for a sandwich many many years ago! When this location opened up in my area... I was not impressed as it didn't match what I remembered. But... today it really hit the mark! Even the quirky unfriendly service and 4% up charge for credit cards was exactly what I expected. 5 stars for bringing back memories of good times and good food! Lol... one free refill only!!!
Burgers are explicit word delicious. Just don't mess around and order a drink. These cats think it's ok to charge 3.50 for a drink ramming the grand total up to right at 12 dollars for a basic combo meal. The drinks would have to be as tasty as the burgers for that to make sense.

I always liked Buds Broiler growing up in NOLA in Mid City across from Delgaldo University. Glad they opened up in Covington. My favorite burger is the one with cheese,grilled onions,and their famous hickory smoke sauce. It is Great to have an old NOLA favorite in Covington. Hope it stays forever on the Northshore
