“Family-friendly restaurant. Very spacious and clean. The staff is so friendly and the food is home-cooked style. Everything we've had at Vasquez has been something we'd order again or recommend to others.Parking: Off the street parking behind building is convenient and safe.“
“Absolutely wonderful! We had the veal cutlet and Mac n Cheese, the veal w Crabmeat sauce, cauliflower casserole and Mac n cheese, and the chicken parm w Mac n cheese. They were to die for and more than we could eat. Laurie was a fantastic waitress seeing to our every need!“
“This is our favorite place to eat. It truly is phenomenal! We drive a ways to go eat there. Our waiter Riley was awesome an is our favorite. You don't have to ask for any anything, he's the best! There is not one thing we've tried that wasn't cooked to perfection! If you haven't ever tried it...go try it. We call it our honey hole! Until next time thank you Half Shell Oysters House, see you again soon!“
“Intimate Italian at its best. I ordered the pork cheek and my wife got the veal Molli. It was superb. For dessert, we ordered the Tiramisu. The waiter said, “the best Tiramisu of your life” and he was right! My wife doesn’t usually care for tiramisu but it was divine. We can’t recommend Marcello’s “
“Consistently great food and service; always clean, and they recently refreshed the interior so it's looking even better. This restaurant is a popular choice, so at peak times there's usually a wait for a table, but it's so worth it! I highly recommend the Voodoo Crawfish Rolls appetizer.“
“Tasty Delights offers exceptional hospitality and genuine flavors that truly capture the essence of Louisiana. From delicious fare to home-cooked meals, their wonderful service ensures every visit is a must-try experience. With authentic Cajun cuisine and real Cajun food, Tasty Delights delivers a taste of Louisiana that's simply unmatched.“
“This is one of the best restaurants on the Northshore and is a hidden gem. It's one of the few places where I can never decide what to order because everything is so appealing. They also say it is haunted, so that adds to the ambiance. I highly recommend Seiler Bar for a date night or to meet up with friends.“
“This is the Go To place for seafood on the north shore. Lisa and crew and friendly and very very helpful. You feel like extended family when working with them.I ordered 40 lbs of shrimp late notice, they didn’t think twice about our getting them in and prepped.“
“TLDR; Best place around. Order their food.I am progressively disabled, meaning some days I can function and others, I can't walk hardly. I also have celiac. Palmisanos is incredibly easy to order from, is unbelievably affordable, and is run by a sweet family. The food is reliably quality. I have never gotten sick and I've never had anything I disliked enough to waste. I have dishes I love more than others, but sometimes I order my not faves for health reasons, and they do an amazing job at catering to my needs.I HIGHLY recommend Palmisanos to anyone, and especially anyone who lives with food intolerance or chronic illness. Here's a love letter for the verbose:Without Palmisanos, I'd have a much harder time in life. I'd be paying way more for food that could be cross contaminated or from a restaurant with old oil, and would cost 2 or 3x the price. This service is worth driving round trip from NOLA once a week because it enables me to care for my family when my body can't. It makes me a more reliable person. It takes so much stress off of me. This business is more than a restaurant; it is a place for people like me, who are often ostracized, to find care and service and inclusion. That care part makes humans healthy. And that is why I want people like Palmisanos to succeed - they know their community members' names, and they will always care for me better than any corporation ever will. Thank you so much for your impact.“
“The Thai ribs and the Korean Chili chicken sandwich are sinful. The ribs fall off the bone every time. Corn grits are always a must. I love dining in because the drinks are really good. It's always just a tad too dark in the restaurant for me, but it's still a nice place to go if you want a decent selection of food and drink.“
“Wonderful fresh cooked food for out of towners like me. Best jambalaya, and cheeseburger poboy I've ever had for breakfast. Family owned business with very personable girls that are helpful, happy, and smiling at the counter. Thank you. Hopefully I'll be down again sometime from my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pa.“
“I was recommended to come here by a local auto maintenance shop because I’m not from the area. What a great recommendation. I had to stare at the menu for a bit bc there was so many different things that I wanted. However, I settled on the cheeseburger, an egg roll, boudin ball and the boudin egg roll. If you’ve made it this far, just stop and go. This place is amazing. The food is great. The atmosphere just puts it over. As I was sitting there, waiting for my food, the employees were talking to their regulars, asking how’ve they been, where was their son at, etc. I wish I could find a place like this close to my house. Highly recommend boot just bc of the food, but the people as well.“
“Arrived in Covington LA, while camping after exploring the cajun area, went looking for another Boil. Found this gem on Google. Hubby and I stopped in a little confused gal at register gave us 2 cups and menus suggested we review menus and return to register when ready to order. while trying to decipher the what some items were. a very kind gentleman stopped by table inquired if we needed anything and made some suggestions, got our drinks even though normally self serve, took our order. hubby ended choosing alligater sausage pasta(swamp pasta) I reddish with crawfish cream sauce. Yum on both dishes.Deffinately commItted to return we're salivating on a boil, and they have a platter we want to try. privately owned our nice gentleman was the owner. thank you fr Iowa wished we had you in Des Moines“
“Always great service and food is jammin! Consistency and variety can't be beat! The potroast po boy is insanity.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating and the menu is great for kiddos.Wheelchair accessibility: It's accessible.“
“Honestly, despite the awful posts that are out there, we had a WONDERFUL experience at Copelands of Covington last night! It was a Friday night, and we sat on the patio to listen to the live music while we dined. It was a beautiful atmosphere and our food and waitress, Megan was phenomenal! Seriously!! Service (at least by Megan) was timely, accommodating, and delightful. Food was served hot, well timed, and tasted really good! Literally ZERO complaints! Def a must try, especially on the patio if there's also live music. (Ok, only "complaint" was that they don't take same-day reservations, which makes absolutely no sense, so make reservations at least a day before if you must)“
“Amazing, tender chicken. I ordered sesame chicken with fried rice and it was ready within 10 minutes. It tastes absolutely delicious and I didn’t even need to add sauce like I usually do. Will for sure be recommending this place in the future!“
“Stopped in here for our Christmas dinner. Ordered 3 lbs of shrimp with corn and potatoes. They ended up selling out of potatoes but gave us a choice of another side. We chose the garlic mushrooms. They were delicious. On the spicy side but they are soaked with garlic and 2 huge garlic bunches are in it. The shrimp was the best shrimp I've ever had. This was my first time to Louisiana and had never experienced shrimp like this. A-MA-ZING. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through. They also sell smaller 1 lb options and several other local seafood options.“
“What a surprise!! It's bright and welcoming! Chili rellenos were delicious and huge! Just the right amount of bite and lots of cheese! Cucumber Margarita was freshly made and delicious! On the rocks only! Service was friendly!! Music outside sounded great but it was too cold for me!! I'll be back to try more menu items!“
“2 words. SWAMP BUCKET.That is all ..Just kidding lol. I went here once a while ago for dinner. It was lovely. Not a lot of super cute options on the North shore. I feel like this is definitely one of them. Came back recently via the boat dock while on an adventure with Captain Mike. That was fun to come through the back and get some tasty cocktails that were very strong from the nice bartenders. Not mad at this experience at all“
“Service was excellent with Nathan our waiter. The food was good overall but that's because I'd rate one entree as excellent (fisherman redfish) and one as ok (gnocchi). We split a salad and gumbo for appetizers and they were very good. All the Desserts were excellent (cheesecake, chocolate mousse, apple tart dish). Ambiance was very nice for the most part but then a louder, younger group came in at the end and interfered with that. However, overall it was a great experience. We will definitely be going back.“
“Me and my boyfriend went there after doing some shopping and the food was great! Service was also good. Our waiter was very attentive and personable, but the sign posted right when you walk in the door was very off-putting. It felt like there was kind of a weird stipulation of censorship. Most people don't want politics brought to the front of their mind when enjoying a different cultures food.“
“I normally don't leave reviews but I felt the need to here. So many negative reviews and they are so unwarranted. One person gave a one start bc she couldn't find parking. Seriously? Yelp should not allow that. Anyway, the food was great! Oysters fresh and yummy. The redfish was so on point and everyone is friendly. Definitely would come back if I'm in there area.“
“Very good fried shrimp and fish. Several TV's if you are interested. Not a loud place. Very good turtle cheesecake! Service was good, not great. Apparently she had several tables. But I do recommend and would go back again without hesitation.“
