“Picked up one of the cream cheese King cakes at Earls grocery store. From appearance it looks very similar to a donut king cake, the dough was very good, but it didn’t have any cinnamon in it at all which is traditionally in a king cake so was a little disappointed in that. The glaze is really nice affect, in addition to the icing drizzle. Love that the baby is already INSIDE the cake, not many others do that nowadays. Very good ?? 7/10”

“We enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner. Our table was decorated with little hearts and an anniversary card and we were congratulated as we were seated. Our server was friendly and professional. The food was excellent and we enjoyed a complimentary dessert. It was a very romantic celebration because of the staff, the ambiance, and the meal.”

“This was our first visit to Twin Peaks, and my husband and I were quite impressed. All of the food is very reasonably priced, which is becoming a rarity around here lately. My husband got the billionaire bacon burger, and I got the lobster mac and cheese. The food was delicious. At first sight, the portion of my dish seemed a bit on the small side. But it was actually quite filling and I was only able to finish half of it. My husband quite enjoyed his burger as well. The fries were perfectly crispy and tasty. The service was great as well. Our waitress was super friendly, and she was also training a couple of other waitresses and seemed to be doing a pretty good job with that too. She also ensured her manager visited with us as first time guests. The manager was very friendly, and informed us of the car meet ups and shows that were upcoming. We definitely will be back!”

“Date night with the wife was a great experience at Social. I had mistakenly made a reservation the night before, and missed it, but they accommodated us anyway, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was phenomenal; I suggest the wood fired salmon...I've never eaten salmon this good. Our server, Madison, was pleasant and knowledgeable and easily engaged with us in conversation! She was always on top of everything! The drinks were amazing, the food was delicious, and the service spectacular! This was our first time eating here, but we will definitely be back.”

“There is nothing about this place that I wouldn't give 5 stars. I came here with my family on Easter. I got the Cornell Sanders chicken sandwich and I was blown away. I don't remember what my family go but we were amazed by the quality and flavor of our meals. When my family tried the chicken on my sandwich, my grandfather got up and found our waitress to order one before they closed to take home to Lake Charles. We chatted with the staff and they were absolutely lovely. The service was unmatched and so welcoming. There weren't a lot of people when we got there but that's understandable considering it's Easter. So I can't speak on when it's busy but the atmosphere was so amazing. The music was classic. The part we sat in had windows and so much natural light. We got dessert and I can't understate how PHENOMENAL the creme brulee was. We had such an amazing visit and will definitely be coming here again!Thank you guys so much!!”

“I have been to many Indian restaurants in the Midwest. Though I am Asian, my family and I love Indian food. Priya's is by far the best tasting Indian food I have had in all my years of eating Indian food. I like their food so much, for the first time ever, I'm taking a whole cooler load of it back to Kansas where I will be savoring it for the next 2 months. The owners, Joseph and Priya, are wonderful people. The restaurant is small but has so much ambiance. Nice place to go for a lunch or dinner date. You will not regret your foodie experience!”

“I usually have zero complaints with Jet Coffee, but this order really disappointed me. A large pina colada energy drink with no ice was the order; I received a large cup that was not even half full. I still recommend them because we love it there, but don’t waste money on the no ice option.”

“This was our first time eating in Lafayette and someone recommended coming here for some authentic Louisiana food with great taste. Without a doubt this was AMAZING. Our server, Max Dean, was so attentive and nice. He recommended what to try and not try as our first time and was GENUINE about it! He even recommended us places to go visit while in Lafayette. The food was amazing. It was our first time trying gumbo and we tried both of them and hands down, our favorite was the Chicken & Andouille. Recommend this place 100%!”

“We were visiting from Mississippi and found this incredible place. I’m so happy we did. The food was so flavorful, fresh and delicious. Our waiter helped us choose the best items in the menu and his suggestions were spot on. He was informative and attentive. The owner even stopped by our table to see how everything was. The prices are great for the amount of food that is brought out. We left full and happy. Our only wish is that we lived closer, because this would become a weekly go to. Absolutely amazing.”

“Stopped here for dinner on a Friday at the recommendation of a friend. Absolutely a great choice. The spicy crawfish were seasoned perfectly and good sized. Chicken and sausage gumbo was on point, and the service was great. Oh and the pork rinds they served when we were seated, perfect. We got seated immediately, but it did fill up quickly. Obviously lots of other folks enjoy the food, because by the time we left there was a line waiting to get in. We will absolutely be back again!”

“Found this cozy sushi spot by accident. It's definitely a hidden gem. Very personal service, kind and attentive staff. They start off by serving you a warm towelette to wash up before taking your order. I started with a miso soup and tuna tataki. The menu is extensive, so it took me a bit to decide on a main course. The chef happily gave suggestions. I've never had a "riceless" roll before, but it was amazing and very filling without the over full feeling from too much rice. I finished with a perfectly cut orange or a light dessert. And lastly, another warm towelette to clean up before taking the check. The prices are a bit higher than "average sushi", however, the ingredients were all very fresh looking and tasting along with being beautifully plated, well worth the price for me. I will return here in the future.”

“Very homey and hole-in-the-wall spot. Often these have the best food and this was no exception - I think this place has the best pho in Lafayette. The broth was so savory and piping hot. Lots of toppings, and the chicken was very good quality. The egg rolls tasted homemade and fresh. Took a star off for service because they were understaffed at dinner so there was only one server. She did a great job tho despite being alone. I was very happy with the condiments provided at the table - everything from hot chili flakes to spicy mustard. Would return.”

“I have always had good hamburgers from this place. Started back in 1967 as a customer. Their consistency of their burgers as the ones I use to get when I started coming here. Prices have changed less than inflation. A working man can still get a good burger without having to dig into his savings. >>>>> customer for life here.7”

“We went for our Anniversary on March 20th 2024. It was out first time. We both enjoyed everything. It was very romantic. Jessie was our waitress who made us feel right at home. Even brought us some chocolate cheese cake for out anniversary. It was good. I would def recommend and go back..”

“A great place for frozen custard! The taste of the menu options is amazing everytime we go. Service is always great and friendly. And even the pricing is really great!My only complaint is the space. It's small and like someone else mentioned, there is really no space to sit and enjoy unfortunately, its drive thru and window service only. I wish they had more spaces for parking and more places to sit and enjoy their delicious options.Overall, I highly recommend this place and I hope at some point they expand or build a new location for better parking and sitting options. Keep up the good work! We will be back again soon!”
