“The fried rice is very bland and I would not recommend it as an entree. The eggrolls and pu-pu platter are only so-so. But the entrees are hot, delicious, and their Mandarin chicken sauce is perfect. Some of the dishes could use a tad more seasoning. Generous portions and priced right. Service is usually quick and the counter lady is very friendly.“
“This is the best Chinese food in Ascension Parish. Trust me I've tried them all. Always hot and always fresh. I V is freaking crazy and probably smoking dope. Lay off the meth I V! Great fast service and an awesome hidden gem. When I order Chinese food it will be from here. Never had a bad experience even when they're packed. If you're looking for some good Chinese food this is your place.“
“Great restaurant for take-out. Food was on point and delicious. A little on the price side depending on what you order but worth every penny. We got a lot of food and the completed the order timely and with great quality. If your in Baton Rouge, Prairieville area definitely stop by or order online and get some food.“
“I am not a big fan of Chinese buffet's, but the Tang Buffet in Gonzales was so darn good! I took my mom there for her 86 birthday and we both were taken back with the quality, freshness and variety of food offered on their buffet! There was not one single dish that was not outstanding indeed! I did not expect the seafood dishes offered to taste amazing! They put their own twist to coconut shrimp, so good! Stuffed crabs were very tasty and the crab casserole was excellent and seasoned perfect! Very impressed to say the least! High quality food, I highly recommend the Tang Buffet! You will not be disappointed! Can't wait to go back!Karen Mayeaux Hill“
“We like the food. I saw some complaints on this site, you have to remember, It’s not a 5 star restaurant, but it’s very reasonably priced. The sushi isn’t raw fish. It’s all cooked rolls. The Mongolian grill is really good. Large verity, good food at a decent price. My servers have always been attentive even with large tables.Parking: The parking lot can be tight.“
“A young boy (maybe 12 years old, tops) was working the front-end of the restaurant (taking orders, running the register, etc...). He was very polite. The food was fantastic, as it always is. They are mostly a take-out location (only five tables in the restaurant itself) so their interior is nice, simple, and brightly lit.“
“I love Oki Japan. I’ve been working out of state in the Bay Area of California and all of the sushi there is overpriced for what you get. I like visiting family in Louisiana and coming here to get all of the fantastic sushi that I want for a greatly affordable price. I love the baked LSU roll. It’s perfect for a cold, rainy winter day.“
