“My family decided to try something new today, so this was our first time eating Indian cuisine and our waiter, Sandip, made it the best experience and saw to it that we wouldn't regret our decision. He suggested a variety of dishes which were All delicious. This was a rare instance in my family were everyone was happy with their meal! This was literally the best service which I have received at any restaurant, no exaggeration! To top it off, the bill was much lower than I was expecting. We will definitely de regular patrons here and encourage you to try something new. Thank you again Sandip!”

“Tony Mandina's has been around for a long time. There is a reason for it. It is still a friendly family owned restaurant. Any restaurant with the owner's sitting at the table in the front with a welcoming smile and under their watchful eye is has great chance of being great.”

“First time trying this place and it didn’t disappoint. Our server was spectacular (he was also the bartender). Food was good and came out quick. Moderately priced menu with plenty options to choose from. It’s a small, quaint restaurant and the atmosphere is family oriented. Me and family will most definitely return.”

“I took my wife to eat here for our anniversary/her birthday. The food was incredible and service was great. I'd definitely recommend The Red Maple, we truly enjoyed it. We normally go into the city which is further away and spend substantially more money but, we decided to try something different this year and we were definitely happy about doing so.Vegetarian options: We didn't eat anything from the vegetarian options but my wife said there were definitely options for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: Just tell your server about any diet restrictions and they'll be happy to let the kitchen know and are also able to point out options on the menu.”

“Great place, atmosphere is chill for any adult. No childish mental type of place. It's a place for casuals or those who want to just chill and convo. I recommend this place, it's stellar! Come down to ? cocktail! The bartender Angel is an angel, she is a real type. So don't f around or you will find out!”

“This food is some of the best food I've ever had. Definitely some of the best Thai ever. It blows anything else in the city out of the water. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. We were truly blown away by all of the flavors in every single thing we ordered. We will definitely be regulars.”

“Went for the first time today, definitely won't be the last. Yes, it's a hole-in-the-wall dive bar. Yes, they smoke in here and there are cigarettes in the vending machine. It might be cash only too (my friend treated me to lunch today). If any of that bothers you- GO SOME PLACE ELSE because the boiled everything on Thursdays is WORTH IT. Turkey necks, neck bones, pig feet, smoked sausage, corn & potatoes was what they had today- all served in a styrofoam go-box in case you can't finish. Slap-ya-momma good food here. Can't really find a menu posted anywhere- it's a word-of-mouth place. I went for lunch but it gets crowded at night.Parking: Parking lot on left side of building. Overflow parking in open field near Derbingy St.”

“I go to this location often as it's close to where I work. I always order using the app; sometimes I go to the drive-thru for pickup, sometimes I go in, depending on the drive-thru line. The staff does a great job at getting orders done quickly. They're friendly and, if I have to wait a minute or two when I go in, they always apologize. It's so refreshing to go to a place where the people are pleasant, do a great job with smiles on their faces and get the orders done quickly. I appreciate all that they do, and wish the one closest to where I live was even half as good as this one!! Keep up the great work, and I'll - and I'm sure many others - will keep ordering there!!! “The sushi is always delicious. You can always tell that it is the freshest fish around. Hero is a master at his craft. Let's not forget about the waitt staff. They are on top of things. The restaurant is a beautiful casual atmosphere that I will go back there whenever I can”

“I keep getting the same menu item every time, but it's just so fresh! The quality here is superior to many Mexican restaurants and it justifies the higher prices (on some things). The cocktails are amazing and reasonably priced. I like having a location on the West Bank although Lakeview rocks with their beautiful outdoor/patio seating. For me, having a gluten free menu and knowledgeable staff makes all the difference, and I will continue to choose Gato Negro over any other Mexican restaurant!”

“We stopped here to try out their food. This place is more of a fast food restaurant. You get in line and order. They give you a number and then bring you the food. We both got the shrimp sandwich and a side of gumbo. I did not like the gumbo. It didn’t have sausage and wasn’t spicy either. The sandwich was ok. A little dry. The people that work there are very friendly and attentive.”

“The welcoming was EXTREMELY A welcome to their store haven't had that type of greeting in any place in decades. The sandwiches was delicious & everything fresh. I were gifted gift cards from my job last yr and this yr never used them but one time for a repass. Well I have my daughter 1 and she told me bout the sandwiches ? so do to me having $125 left in gift cards I treated a friend of mine there and also b myself he stated he always ate there when he worked for toy'r us they broccoli ? and ham classic meal. I tried they Tavern meal oh my was it good it was the best fresh ham,turkey,? dress on some kind of wheat bread that had like almonds or something in it. Only thing if I would have read that the bread was that I would have chosen another bread I'm not a wheat eater even after known its healthy. I gought some ribs that I'm go try for Christmas eve can't exactly pass an opinion on that right now but you can tell they are great cause it was pack and customers were steady coming. I love it there. Will be going back AGAIN!”

“Hooters is still my favorite place to get wings and fried pickles. I've been a fan of hooter for years but I have never ordered anything outside of their wings, I prefer their breaded wings over naked, can't go wrong with spicy garlic. Never had bad service at the one on thr Westbank.”

“The ladies working are always great! The Bo Bo tray is definitely worth it; it's a lot more than you think. We also had the clay pot fish, combo fried rice, and wonton soup and everything was well seasoned and great portions. They're usually slow on the inside, but we saw a lot of takeout orders. People should really dine in to experience the great service too. One of the best Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants on the westbank!”
