The food is Fairly expensive in my opinion for the quality. The decor could use some updating, honestly some brighter light and maybe brighter paint would open up the atmosphere. I rate 3 stars because the employees are kind.
Hubby wanted me to find a place for us to eat breakfast, went to ole' faithful Google & this Gem pulled up. Kitty was absolutely ? amazing, she was very attentive, knowledgeable & kind. We asked a gentleman where could we park, he happened to be one of the owners,lol.. directed us to park in a very convenient spot while we dined, we also had a great conversationwith his beautifulwife & son also..The cafe is very cozy and quaint, the owners are amazing , the food was GREAT!...read full review

A great place with an extensive menu and friendly service! The fried shrimp is so delicious- be sure to try the potato salad with it if you can! The special item I specifically go there for is Green beans- they're the best! Fresh green beans in a savory tomato sauce with onions, it's so so good! Can't find them anywhere else like that! If you're in downtown Gretna during the week, it's a great place to stop for breakfast and lunch.
