I like this place! Great portions I had the charbrolied oysters they were good. I think I ask for then to be well done next time. I also had the Charles special m so good great portions. Loved the jambalaya grits. The gumbo was decent very salty.
If you want great food and service, you should go to Charles Seafood. Gina is a great server, and her suggestions are spot on… at least for me. I had the crabs, boiled shrimp, and a couple beers. It was GREAT!

Felt like home. Very old school restaurant, specializing in Louisiana Seafood. The building is older, but very clean and well maintained.The entire staff was very friendly. From the hostess, to the young bus boys, to our server. Everyone had a smile.My wife had the humongous stuffed crap platter, and I had a BBQ shrimp po-boy. Everything was delicious and arrived hot.
