I was sent the wrong flavor of king cake. I sent an email on their website and got no response. The cake was dry and not good. It also was over $60 to get shipped so I was really disappointed. I’m going back to always ordering from Manny Randzoo’s.

Wow! What a fabulous experience with Cannata’s and a sweet helpful lady named Marian. We are big fans of their Gooey Butter King Cake and wanted to have one shipped all the way to Hawaii to properly celebrate Mardi Gras Day. There was a slight shipping glitch but Marian fixed it all! Our King Cake was over-nighted at no charge and it arrived! Everyone loved it! It was fresh and delicious! They are a wonderful company and I highly recommend them!

Visited Zuppardo's in Metairie right after Family Gras to buy a King Cake. Their radio ads were really hyping Cannata's King Cakes, so I thought that this year a Cannata's cake would be worth the try. They had the Cannoli and Snickerdoodle flavors for sale, but a surprising policy posted in the bakery department: "No Returns on King Cake." I found that odd, but it didn't dissuade me from buying a Cannata's King Cake, that at about $34 seemed over-priced to begin with. Perhaps Zuppardo's "No Returns" policy should have been a tip-off that they expected problems with certain cakes? The Cannata's cake was misshapen and barely had any of the Snickerdoodle filling in it at all. So, I didn't even bother to try to return it to Zuppardo's, given their posted policy. I did, however, call Cannata's on Lundi Gras to report the issue. I was told that someone would call back. No response. But, given the fact that it was Lundi Gras, I didn't expect a speedy response. I also contacted them via email through their website. I'd like to think that the cake we purchased was only a fluke and that Cannata's cakes are really worth of the all the praise they seem to receive. Our experience was so disappointing, however, that I don't think I'll be interested in purchasing another one any time soon. Perhaps the quality is better when purchasing directly from Cannata's?

Their King Cakes are literally the best I have ever had!!! And I have had a lot of King Cakes from a lot of different places throughout my life, so that's saying a lot!!! Every different flavor/filling I try is even better than the one before, which I thought couldn't get any better!! They are absolutely delicious, and the service was great!!! My absolute #1 favorite is the T-Can (barrel-aged bourbon glazed pecans!) I had to come out and sing their praises, although I must admit, I didn't want to let out the secret about this place!!!

CAKES NOT DELIVERED.Whoever at Cannata's set up the FedEx originally scheduled it for 2nd day delivery, they caught the error and corrected the delivery in the FedEx system to be delivered today.... STILL DIDNT HAPPEN.....FedEx will deliver the cakes tomorrow (ASH WEDNESDAY) by 1 PM. Cannata's thanks for ruining our Fat Tuesday!If I could give negative stars I WOULD.I ordered for overnight.BAKERY WONT OWN ITS MISTAKESDo NOT order from this place, look for the one star / bad reviews about deliveries

I’ve had scores of Mardi Gras King cakes over the decades, and this is bar none the best one I’ve ever had. We got the Snickerdoodle and it’s divine. Just trust me on this one.
