“After Hurricane Ida hit everywhere in Houma has gotten some damage, we're all still rebuilding and recovering. Times are rough and you have to take it one day at a time. Recently, while working I have gone to Petersen Donuts, not once but twice. Having a reliable donut place that opens early & is ready to serve so quickly has been a blessing. After the first time I was so pleased that I told myself "that place is gonna have more of my business" and went the second time. “I love the staff they are extremely friendly and very helpful. I'm not a huge fan of their donuts. I don't know if it's the dough just seems a bit off, but their other options that are pretty great. When I ate meat, the kolache was the best thing on the menu.“
“Great donuts!The sign out front needs some bulbs replaced so it's completely legible from both sides. Just a constructive critique, nothing more. The 5th star would've been earned if the donuts were indeed Hot, as the sign advertised. Friendly staff and a large selection of donuts and other foods, including burgers and such. Stop in. Earlier in the day might get you some that are hot.“
“I have passed by here many many many times and decided finally to stop and try out the donuts. Taylor straight me and my daughters definitely enjoy our breakfast there. Customer service was very exceptional and the lady was very polite and nice. I will definitely recommend if you passing by in Raceland to stop by! Thank you!“
“In love with their spicy boudin kolaches!!! Highly recommend! I haven’t tried any speciality donuts, but their regular glazed donuts are good so I can only imagine how much more delicious the other ones are. The owner is very nice and always ask if I would like my stuff heated before I leave. I also like how quick and efficient they are with their service. I can go in and out in less than 10 minutes!“
