Tried out Peppers based on a recommendation. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was fine, typical pizza - pub setting. The starter was a very typical microwaved or deep fried nugget, nothing special. Had a thin crust pizza with a few veggie toppings. Couldn't really taste or notice the sauce. Cheese and toppings were ok, but we asked for extra mushrooms and it was still light on them. Crust was mediocre, absolutely needed to be in the oven for a few more minutes. Overall, at that price point it simply should be better.

I love Peppers. It is my go-to pizza in Houma. But my experience tonight was very different, borderline insulting. I ordered my usual triple pepperoni pizza - hand-tossed with light sauce and extra cheese. What arrived at my table was indeed triple pepperoni pizza ... but dripping in grease, very little cheese, and crispy thin crust. I understand even the best restaurants miss from time to time, so I was willing to give Peppers a pass. Their track record was too good. So I called over a manager to let him know my pizza came out wrong. After repeating my order to him, he replied in a matter-of-fact tone that I should expect greasy pizza with triple pepperoni and that what was on my pizza was indeed extra cheese. He surrendered that it was actually thin crust. And, seemingly for that reason alone, he was willing to replace it with a new pizza. BUT he recommended that I change the order to regular pepperoni (to avoid extra grease) and go with double cheese (maybe to make it seem like cheese is actually on the pizza). What he brought back to me came across as a mockery, like a sarcastic response to my request to make my pizza right. Pizza No. 2 was now hand-tossed but drowning in sauce and blanketed with a thick layer of cheese, burying the pepperoni. It came across as the equivalent to, "You want extra cheese? Eat this!"Maybe I am over-thinking this experience, but I have enjoyed Peppers way too many times to know this is not even close to their standard. Attached are photos of the pizzas described, including a side-by-side. You be the judge.Hopefully my next trip to Peppers will reunite me with the pizza I know well.

Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Our only 'complaint' was that the half order of pasta my coworker ordered was a kid's portion. During our previous visit, about three weeks prior, the same coworker ordered a full order of the same pasta and was able to make three meals out of it. The 'half order' on this visit wasn't enough for my coworker to fill himself.

I really like how unique this place is. You can satisfy all of your cravings in one location. The salads and pizza are delicious. While you wait on your pie, you can walk through to the adjoining Pour House to enjoy some craft beers. After dinner you can walk to the other adjoining side for some after dinner ice cream.
