This places doesn't look like much from the outside, but often that is where you can find the best hidden gems. This is one of those places. Although it is a little run down and could use some updating, the food is terrific. I had the coktail de cameron (shrimp cocktail) and bistek encebollado (skirt steak with grilled onion) and both were surprisingly very delicious and well seasoned. This used to be one of my favorite spots for authentic Latin food. Unfortunately the quality of service and food has steadily declined. The past 2 visits I got the steak tacos which the meat was very tough. Rice and beans were not even warm. 3 servers sat behind the bar having conversation and completely ignoring seated patrons. I probably won't go back. Too many other really good options in Kenner.

The strawberry margaritas were amazing, food looked amazing but wasn’t anything to write home about. The sauce that came with the tacos was mega spicy to the point I couldn’t even eat them. The cheese stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp didn’t have any cheese.
