Most of the low reviews are just sad. They amount to people not being local and expecting this to be a more formal environment OR locals that were regulars yet still surprised at this being a very local hangout restaurant full of locals even after multiple visits. My go to is the tamale dinner: use to be 3 tamales but is now 2. You can add another tamale for $3 or $4 dollars.Dietary restrictions: Milk allergy, shot to accommodate some dishes by removing cheese but ask about butter on grill
