Ate here for the first time in 25 years. My family has been disappointed in a lot of the local eateries in and around the Acadiana area. I assured them that Prejeans was good when I was a kid. Once we went here to eat, everyone raved about their dishes. My main criticism is the gumbo has an extremely potent smoke taste. If I had to guess, it's likely liquid smoke added to a gumbo that already had smoked meat. Not the best but certainly far from the worst.

We went for the Sunday brunch. It was amazing! My 5 kids enjoyed it very much! Ms Maggie is amazing! The food was fresh and seasoned to perfection!
