“Found this cozy sushi spot by accident. It's definitely a hidden gem. Very personal service, kind and attentive staff. They start off by serving you a warm towelette to wash up before taking your order. I started with a miso soup and tuna tataki. The menu is extensive, so it took me a bit to decide on a main course. The chef happily gave suggestions. I've never had a "riceless" roll before, but it was amazing and very filling without the over full feeling from too much rice. I finished with a perfectly cut orange or a light dessert. And lastly, another warm towelette to clean up before taking the check. The prices are a bit higher than "average sushi", however, the ingredients were all very fresh looking and tasting along with being beautifully plated, well worth the price for me. I will return here in the future.“
“We come here atleast twice a month sometimes 3 times a month! It's really great atmosphere. Always have very friendly staff, Sam, richard, and all the rest of the staff. We love us some sushi masa ❤️Parking: Great parkingKid-friendliness: Our kids love this place, ?Wait staff are really great with our kids also!“
“First time. Never heard of or would have ever found this place without Google. I searched sushi near my job and this came up.The door says take out only. Its a small old non fancy place that obviously focuses on the food only and the gentleman was very kind just making the sushi himself behind a regular wood counter like he was at home, so I had a feeling it was going to be good. It was. I went simple with the Calif roll and Shrimp tempura roll only because the website does not say what is in the others. He showed me how to find that online.I also had the eggplant/shrimp w/ miso. It really was what I would imagine eating at a friends home in Japan would be by a mom who's been making sushi all her life.I look forward to trying more rolls in the future.“
“This is hands down one of the BEST places in town I’ve ever eaten at. Every dish was perfect. We got the jalapeño gyoza, crab wontons, Korean ribs, pork belly, calamari, and several rolls. Every dish was amazing. Our server Maddie was very attentive and made awesome recommendations. Do NOT sleep on this place! You have to try it at least once.“
“The service is great and the food is fresh. However, they are over priced $90 for two people. Here's what we had: 1 tempura roll 1 spring roll ( you get 4 rolls and they are very small) 2 waters and 2 chicken hibachi. Tip is added to the bill at 18% however, the % is after tax. So, basically they make you tip on tax too. Although the food is good, it's not worth the price.“
“Ordered sushi for lunch twice and dinner once and it was amazing! I have had sushi all over the world including Japan and Honolulu which of course is the best sushi I ever had, but to have such good quality fresh sushi that is amazing after a 20-30 minute delivery, Awesome! Outstanding!“
“Great location and beautifully decorated restaurant. Food was delicious and service was excellent. But the way I rate Japanese restaurants is how they serve green tea. If they give a tea bag it speaks to their attention to details. This green tea was served brewed delicious without a tea bag. But what set this place apart is that they served delicious honey and lemon with the tea. This was a 1st for me.The only negative I can think of is that the place was excessively noisy.Highly recommended“
“I highly recommend this place for good quality sushi at a fair price. This is not upscale dining, casual attire is fine. The food is fresh and atmosphere inviting and friendly. Great for lunch or dinner. This establishment has been around for a long time, which testifies to the quality product they deliver.“
“Great place for casual meet up with friends at any time of the day. Although do not try to come after 9:30pm because the kitchen will be closed. My friends ordered a beef Pho and they brought a huge bowl of soup, which could have easily served for two people. Sides for the pho included bean sprouts, dill, fresh jalapenos, cilantro, and lime. I ordered beef Yakisoba for myself. If you're not a big fan of broccoli, just ask the kitchen staff not to include it in the dish. We also ordered chicken fried rice, which tastes even better with teriyaki sauce. As for the appetizers, each of us got a small bowl of miso soup. I would not recommend this place for deserts though, as every desert option is fried.“
“We celebrated our son's birthday this evening and the food was fantastic! The server, Yingling, was so friendly and energetic, all needs were met promptly and with a smile! I never take pics of food, but I made an exception tonight, just art work! We'll definitely be going back soon!“
“We had a large birthday party (22 guests) we reserved a hibachi and everything was ready when our party arrived. Our chef was funny and cooked our food perfect. Everyone had a great time, the only thing that could have been better would have been having 2 waitresses because 1 for that many people was too much.“
“I still dream about this sushi -- what an amazing meal and experience! I would recommend this to anyone -- they're imaginative, but not in a way that compromises flavor or quality. They try new things (hello Doritos in sushi!), but also make sure that their product is top notch. Don't sleep on this place - go!“
